I believe the (Burma) military dictatorship is successfully anticommunist, and the gal won't be able to prevent commie infiltration, subversion, and takeover.

Actually, the Burmese dictatorship is supported and subsidized by Communist China....so the military running Burma (Myanmar) is not anti-commie. They are supported by the largest Communist nation on the planet

Suu Kyi is a Nobel Peace prize winner, and seems to be the darling of international socialists. This probably explains it. Can't wait to hear Obama demand that Iran release its political prisoners.

Interesting approach, he changes US policy toward Burma, giving them the carrot before he asks for this concession. This Administration is more pro Burma than any predecessor and if they think They can get “the Lady” out of her confinement they are crazy. The generals, close allies of China, made the mistake of allowing a democratic vote once which they lost 80% to 20%. Never again. These folks feel nothing when they allowed tens of thousands of their own people to die rather than accept aid from other countries in the region, let alone the West.

Actually, the Burmese dictatorship is supported and subsidized by Communist China.

That is true, however it is important to remember that China is NOT economically communist, and that classic original communism is an economic system and philosophy that can be imposed by several different political systems.

The Burma dictatorship is successful at being economically anticommunist and IS supported by China because it benefits China and is a thumb in the eye of the US and the economic Marxist that is President. China will support ANY nation that is a serious embarrassment to the US regardless if they are economically communist or not, but they prefer to make money if they can.

Zer0 would have the gal's "democracy" loaded with Zimbabwe economic Marxists, and the Chinese don't want that, there's no money to be made with a neighbor run like Zimbabwe.

True, and I believe this makes her weak in resistance to Zer0's brand of Marxism, if she would have any objections at all.

Nowadays, as in the past, there are communists, and there are communists. 0bama's choice of communist is not necessarily going to fly with, surprise, communists.

Suu kyi? Say wasn’t she the democratically elected president
of the country before she was put under house arrest?

It’s too bad Obama didn’t address her as such.
