You beat me by 6 years. I cancelled our cable in 2000 as they wouldn’t carry Fox news and went to Dish.
After the Dish installer finished installing the package, I asked him to block all CNN outlets. He laughed and said that was a common request.
This past summer, we had to replace our 9 year old Dish Control Box, and I blocked all CNN channels after I installed it.

And if you were overseas, as I am , it’s even worse.
Their politically correct, diverse, announcers can’t announce.
They stumble over every sentence.
They can’t even read -—— their pronunciation is so poor I have a very hard time understanding what they are trying to say!
Not worth the effort nor the heart burn. I just turned them off years ago too.
