Vivid has announced that it has the tapes in its possession, and TMZ has published a letter from Vivid chair Steve Hirsch to Prejean's lawyers seeking the right to distribute "erotic footage that Carrie Prejean, former Miss California, produced for her boyfriend following their four (4) day rendezvous in February 2007."

It is very sad what naive girls can be talked into doing by their boyfriends, who often turn out to be complete dirtbags.
The problem for Miss Prejean is that her whole bases for notoriety is her moral stance on marriage.
If she accepts the deal to maintain some control the press will take the tack that she is cashing in on fame.
She loses both ways. But if she accepts money for the publication of a sex video she will lose those who support her for her morality/faith stance.

All this to destroy a single, private citizen who gave an honest answer to a loaded question. Political Correctness will find excuses for terrorists who blow up buildings but will utterly destroy a young woman because of she dared venture an opinion. as much as I admire Prajean for her stance on marriage, her bahavior in makign these films shows a side that is uncomplimentary.
