NewLand Fact Check: CNN not qualified to be considered. Period.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone on FR use the term "PalinBot".

Heaven knows it would be justified.

“Take it to the bank”

LOL, it will be brought up in the Primary and a non issue.

Just because the homosexual Mark Wallace and his Dominatrix wife Nicolle work for Romney and mention it, doesn’t make it an issue.

Dick Armey was on ABC news with George Stephnopolous last week. Armey said if anyone wants to run for President, forget about personal approval ratings. The most important poll is, “Do voters think you’re qualified for the job?” According to Gallup and CNN, half of GOP primary voters are unsure about Palin. The same polls show that Huckabee gains the most confidence of GOP voters and that is why Rasmussen, CNN, and Gallup show him to be the front runner for now.

Of course the media will be pushing a RINO because they know Dems win if RINOS are on the Republican ticket. They know conervatives stay home if conservatives don’t get the nominee.

The libs are scared to death of Palin because she tells it like it is and is a true conservative. The Left knows in 2012 the electorate will be desperate for a conservative after King Obama and if they don’t get one then Obama will there for 4 more years.

We can only pray Palin will be there when the dust settles.

"Those are all valid points. On the point of it being from an “ethics charges” angle they (Obama camp, debate mods) may just play the generic “can she take the heat” angle."

If you look at the Palin polls through the summer, you can see the damage her resignation did to her with Republicans. The opposition didn't like her to begin with, but her resignation did damage to her with many Republicans. Whether or not that damage is lasting, remains to be seen. But, suffice it to say, American don't like quitters. And, Americans generally draw a distinction between people who quit one government job to "take a promotion" at some other level of state or federal government. Palin did the former, not the later. It will hurt her.

I agree wholeheartedly with many of the other things you've said, and would add this - 2008 was a "bumper sticker" election. Americans heard a guy with soaring rhetoric and some great bumper stickers - "Hope and Change" and "Yes We Can". Now, many of those same voters are having significant buyer's remorse because Obama didn't provide specifics, and the electorate now realizes that they should have demanded some specifics - as always, the devil is in the details.

I think if America is willing to fire Obama (the known quantity for the unknown quantity), they'll be more likely to so because of his opponent's ability to articulate the details of a compelling and reassuring vision. Maybe Palin can deliver a message of vision, but it remains to be seen if she can speak with specificity about issues and ideas in a way that people find engaging, compelling and in a manner that says to voters that she's a genuine policy expert - very much unlike Obama. That's going to be a problem for a woman who's such a poor and wondering extemporaneous speaker - she has her work cut out for her.

What exactly makes one qualified to be president, besides being 35 years of age, a natural born citizen and a resident for 14 years?

BTW Theodore Roosevelt had only been Governor of NY for two years and VPOTUS for less than a year when he became president.

Gov. Palin is sharp, clear, and on point.

You RomneyBOTs just can’t find enough Palin posts
to poison for your Master, can you.

"BTW Theodore Roosevelt had only been Governor of NY for two years and VPOTUS for less than a year when he became president."

It almost sounds as if you're intimating that Palin was just as experience as Teddy before he rose to the Presidency. Which of course, would be a ridiculous assertion.

While Roosevelt didn't have a lot of elected-government experience, his other experiential qualifications were rivaled by only a few of his peers. Teddy was an incredibly well-traveled man who had an almost unparalleled grasp on world affairs of any of his contemporaries. He was a true man of letters and a well-regarded historian, even by his political foes.

And of course, Teddy's war experience including receiving the Medal of Honor as well as his executive experience as Secretary of the Navy, made him uniquely qualified on matters of national security, which was becoming more important as America was beginning to emerge as a world leader.

In short, Teddy Roosevelt was one of the most prepared and ready Presidents the country has ever produced.

I challenge you to find a single thing I have ever posted that was remotely complimentary of Mitt Romney, to say nothing of supportive.

The GOP have a dozen possible contenders to Barack Obama, and none of them are Huckaby, Romney or Palin.

The poll's release comes one day before the release of Palin's book,

Which was a bestseller 3 weeks before it was released.

And isn’t that our fault for having a system in which the Rats CAN select OUR candidate? Why hasn’t that been fixed? Because the GOP is just another branch of the DNC now? Look at how they ‘selected’ Dede, a damned leftist.

We’re being sold out on so many levels, it’s surreal.

two-thirds of the public thinks that Secretary of State HIllary Clinton's qualified for the Oval Office.

A phrase seems to have disappeared between the manuscript and the published report:

two-thirds of the public (who are residents of state mental institutions) thinks that Secretary of State HIllary Clinton's qualified for the Oval Office.

There are many logical challenges one could follow up with that answer.

Of course there are for thinking people. You requested a "sound bite." I gave you one.

You’re right. Teddy had been Governor, as has Sarah, and he was a pretty good president.
