I don’t understand why the tea party people didn’t defend themselves when attacked by stick-wielding thugs. Isn’t florida a right to carry state?

This is exactly why we will never get our country back. Most of the supposed folks on our side just take whatever is done to them by the government and the government's thugs.

A couple of observations:
The "Tea Party" guy was trying to get something started. It worked. Look at the aggressive way he trots up to the group and get's right in the middle.
The group looks like they were supposed to be "muscle"
Mr. Clean (with the bald head and wife beater) might look tough, but he acts like he's never been in a fight before.
