The Texas Department of Public Safety is warning parents across the state that violent Mexican cartels and transnational gangs are actively recruiting Texas youngsters in schools and communities. These criminal organizations are luring teens with the prospect of cars, money and notoriety, and promise them that if they are arrested, they will receive light sentences.
The gangs are responsible for massive drug deals and related slayings, and authorities say that they will often use youths in their crimes because juveniles are typically treated with more leniency by the criminal justice system.

The left has imposed this mentality of self destruction and insanity on the nation through the courts and through controlling all educational, legal and corporate institutions. Good post! There has to be a lot of under the table money going on to our caring politicians, else this criminal activity would be taken seriously.
This is just more of the “socialization” that homeschoolers are, sadly, missing out on.
Everything the left does makes sense and is consistent once you realize the goal and the means. The goal is “one world government” where there are no individual rights as against the arbitrary power of the ruling class. The means to that goal is the destruction of a prosperous and independent middle class, which would naturally oppose such a scheme.
This is just one more way of accomplishing that goal. Allow criminal organizations to destroy the middle class through recruitment, fear and intimidation. Once the middle class surrenders their freedoms, the left believes, it will be free to deal with (or co-opt) the criminals as they see fit.
It sounds crazy, I know, but maybe if we got rid of all the illegals this problem would be a lot smaller.
Also left unsaid is that illegals make up a big part of the drug-consuming public.
Those who make excuses for illegal aliens are guilty of treason against my country. Illegals GTFO now!

If Texas didn’t have a governor who was a pro-illegal alien and a Liberal Free Trader Globalist....the DPS would not have to issue such warnings.
Cannot understand how so many believed all that “10th Amendment” posturing from Rick Perry earlier this year. This is the same anti-Texan, anti-American who wants to turn all main Texas highways into the NAFTA Superhighway....making it easier for illegals and drug dealers to infiltrate Texas

Not necessarily. I moved to the country 17 years ago because of the gangs in San Antonio. They were trying to force my 10 & 12 y/o caucasian daughters into the gang. I had my house ransacked and vandalized twice and burglarized once. There were vehicles that would drive slowly by the house. After one of my daughter's friends was killed in a drive-by shooting shortly after leaving our house, I sold everything I owned and moved to protect my girls.
