There's way too much unhappiness among the Left when this is brought up for it to be a dry hole. I don't think they know for a fact that he can't prove his eligibility in the good ol’ fashioned way, by producing a certified birth certificate, but I DO think they are pretty sure he can't. And their only hope is to demonize those who would seek it.
It's the Left’s old play book. Deny, then obfuscate and then destroy the accuser or the victim.
I think steady pressure on the issue will eventually bring it to a boil.
