It’s exposure in the womb, between 18 and 25 weeks, not after the boy is born.

Well, I’m sure they got exposure in the womb too. I think you may be incorrect about the concern only being in utero because I know I’ve read about avoiding plastic baby bottles and cups. Maybe that was for some other health concern?

The anti-phthalate campaign has been led by the PETA freaks. This is a new wrinkle, but PETA hasn’t gotten anywhere with their original claims. The latest complaint that I heard was that the phthalates collect on clothes and are being passed into the water through the laundry.

The FDA has found no problem with phthalates.

LOL :) My dad used to wear fire suits in the military with asbestos. He’ll be 80 next year. Not that I would recommend that, but some people’s constitutions seem to be tougher than others.

“some people’s constitutions seem to be tougher than others”

I thought about that recently when I realized that there is only one relative living from my parent’s generation; the one that drank like a fish.

Oh, for goodness’ sake, what is this country coming to? I never noticed any ill effects from playing with my Barbie doll.
