Schools let students seek secret abortions

A 12-year-old girl is prohibited from bringing aspirin to California public schools without a note from her mother or father – but in many California districts she may sign herself out of classes, leave her junior-high campus without parental permission, secretly have an abortion and return to school before the end of the day – and her own family may be none the wiser.

Parents and educators across the state have been in heated debate over school policies allowing children to be excused during class time without parental notification for "confidential medical services" such as abortions, birth control, and drug and mental health services.

Brad Dacus, founder and president of Pacific Justice Institute, a legal nonprofit, addressed the board at a school-district meeting in Carmichael on Nov. 17 to discuss the policy, along with hundreds of concerned parents who flooded into the meeting and filled the district building lobby.

After much debate and input from the public, the San Juan Unified School District voted 3 to 2 against the policy change. Parents clapped and cheered when they heard the decision.

"We are pleased that the San Juan school board listened to the community and abandoned this disastrous proposal," Dacus said in a statement. "This is a victory for everyone who believes in parental responsibility and local control of school decisions."

And when the girl dies from hemoraging from a botched LEGAL abortion, THEN who is charged for this offense?

Does her abortion ever make it into her medical history file or do they “pretend” that it never happened, making it harder to determine possible links between breast cancer and abortions.

Wonder what happens when there is a car accident as a child is taken off campus by an adult courtesy of the school. How do they “splain” it?

Schools REQUIRE parental “waivers” in the form of permission slips anytime they leave the campus in the care of a driver outside of normal school bus travel.

“Field trips” need that legal liability waiver.

They are setting up the county for a BIG lawsuit should there be a problem.

But then the abortion lobby won’t be the ones paying so go ahead with the butchery.

Her parents. (Parental control is politically correct, but ONLY when the schools need someone else to blame.)

They (Planned Parenthood) have routinely fought against parents even being notified, let alone granting permission for medical treatment when it comes to Planned Parenthood's dispensing of birth control and provision of abortion.

They've also fought routinely against POLICE being notified even when a minor tells the staff that they were knocked up by an adult or even a family member.

PP is pro-rape and anti-woman. They shield rapists from prosecution and they destroy the evidence of the crime leaving the young girl (who is NOT the one paying for the abortion) to cope with what's happened alone.

Hello drugs, self-medicate to make the pain go away...

Some activist school officials in Pennsylvania were secretly driving girls to New York State for abortions to get around PA’s parental consent law.

Charge them under the Mann act. Bringing a minor across state lines for immoral purposes.

the interstate abortion law was fillibustered by the DEMS and never came up for a vote in the Senate.

This has been going on for more than 20 years.

Who says it’s obvious? I’m under 40, and I didn’t have sex until I was 18, and out of school.

However, I know ‘times change’. I can promise you that I plan to talk to my children about sex (and its consequences) as soon as they are emotionally ready.

It’s obvious by the fact that kids are getting pregnant and this is an issue. Times are a bit different than they were when you were 12yo also.

I wonder if there will be abortion parties, simliar to botox parties where all the girls get together and sip champagne while the dear doctor performs the abortions.

One wonders why any parent would send her/his child to a school that shows such disrespect for parents’ wishes.

“Since it’s obvious that these kids are going to have sex, maybe more emphasis should be put on birth control?”
“Birth control doesn’t make campaign money. It’s the abortions that bring in the cash. They WANT these kids knocked up. No dead infants, no political contributions.”

Yep it doesn’t pay nearly as much and IIRC planned parenthood was caught in the past putting young girls on too low a dose BC pills and also handing out defective condoms to make sure that they were coming back for the more expensive services they offer.
