The e-mail system of one of the world's leading climate research units has been breached by hackers.
E-mails reportedly from the University of East Anglia's Climatic Research Unit (CRU), including personal exchanges, appeared on the internet on Thursday.
A university spokesman confirmed the email system had been hacked and that information was taken and published without permission.
An investigation was underway and the police had been informed, he added.
"We are aware that information from a server used for research information in one area of the university has been made available on public websites," the spokesman stated.
"Because of the volume of this information we cannot currently confirm that all of this material is genuine.

Problem is a lot of these people work for public insitutions and thus their emails are subject to Freedom Of Information Act requests. FOI law also is enforced in Britain....

The leading propagandist “ Dr.” Jones is already saying the emails do not say what they say but say something else:

I was wrong about one thing, I thought this was a FOIA release, and now I see it reported in the press it wasn’t.

Why didn’t they report the theft right away? Hiding something?
I downloaded the 61 meg file and am reviewing the emails now. They are obviously real, and show misinformation, deleting of emails, fudging data to fit their purposes, and a general disdain for any criticism of their work.
Sounds kind of like our new POTUS, scary stuff I am seeing.
Yes, there are multiple emails about concealing the work.
