Looks like it's Diet Pepsi for me..

`I like the Walrus best,' said Alice: `because you see he was a little sorry for the poor oysters.'

`He ate more than the Carpenter, though,' said Tweedledee. `You see he held his handkerchief in front, so that the Carpenter couldn't count how many he took: contrariwise.'

`That was mean!' Alice said indignantly. `Then I like the Carpenter best--if he didn't eat so many as the Walrus.'

`But he ate as many as he could get,' said Tweedledum.

I call it “Dopenhagen”

ANd as far as Coke products - I buy a lot more of the Kroger or Sam’s store brand if I just have to have that kind of beverage.

What is it with these corporations begging for taxes to "solve" a "problem" that isn't a problem? Are being blackmailed?

I am guessing there is some sort of back deal. "You support this and we'll tax you less as you pretend to cut gases."

I'd like to build the world a home/ And furnish it with love/ Grow apple trees and honey bees/ And snow-white turtle doves...

Seems Coke has been after this for a long time. I buy HEB store brand soft drinks made in San Antonio, Texas, USA.

Bump. . .

Time to start buying from the small companies - Adirondack & Polar beverages in the North East, etc.

Don’t forget to check what bottled water you drink - Pepsi and Coke are in that marketplace too.

Perfect. Corporate bureaucracies are just as dense as government ones.

I'm afraid that's an accurate assessment. Once they've determined that "global warming" is the "in" thing, the PR department swings into action; money is appropriated, reputations made, and promotions handed out. You're not going to turn that ship on a dime.

]http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2391339/posts Maybe we need to turn up the volume on this!]

Have been sending e-mails re this story which is gaining some momentum; at least in 'blogdom' which means Fox News should be ready by middle of next week; if not before. (Have to line up the 'balance' for interviews, no doubt).

Do hope, this is making Al's head spin out of control with accompanying 'karma'. . .

Meantime, yes; story could use some 'bumps' and pings. . .

Thinking of copying it and placing it on car windshields of those who carry Obama stickers. . .and stick under mailbox flag of those you 'know' are Obamanauts. Also, an easy sharing - place inside Al's latest book on 'global warming'. . .off to the bookstore! Everybody!

Of course, the fundamental difference is that Coca-Cola cannot force its decision on us...

And eventually, will pay for its stupidity.

LOL...and so true! Often wondered, 'where do these people come from'? Now, I know. And they do not need a passport to get there.

The "Hopenhagen" site is sickening, especially the photo on the "sign the petition" page...

Whoever selected the photo thought it was of a beautiful, rustic scene with local color added by a peasant in her Sunday best clothes. Instead, I see third-world squalor where uneducated people work dawn to dusk at backbreaking manual labor to harvest crops from every square foot of arable land in manually built small terraces. All you gets you is near-subsistence living in a local village. If you are serious about feeding 6 billion people and freeing people from such eternal drudgery, you must do it with massive farms and huge fossil-fuel burning machinery, not with pretty peasants holding hand scythes.

This photo is a typical leftist message that we would all be better off in pre-industrial revolution times.

Until their sales dropped faster than the approval ratings for a half white Chicago thug going rogue as a communist sympathizer.

Diet Rite Cola products are the only ones I can think of and are not owned by Pepsi or Coke.

They see the end of demographic growth in the US and are trying to shift our wealth to the Third World, so that they will be able to shift their consumer base to a younger, growing population base.

They don't realize that the Third World is the way it is due to social pathologies; that the Third World (like bitter ghetto rioters) want to *destroy* the haves, not just take the wealth; and that once the West is destroyed, all of the infrastructure, rule of law, property rights, jurisprudence -- in short, all that makes modern corporations and featherbedding PC management positons possible -- will be destroyed with it.

And when the destruction is underway, and too quickly to stop or roll back, they will be just as fatuously surprised as the students at the University of California protesting the Tuition increases.

Cretins, every one.

Cheers!

You’re not going to turn that ship on a dime.

Especially when it generally takes so much time to crank up the presses. Now every one, (to paint with large brush) is into “LOOKING” green. Frankly I am immediately turned off by such blatant stupidity, but when the appearance is half the population is just dying for green... if they only knew!
