Dobbs would be wasting his time and money...he has NO chance whatsoever.

I agree. Senator would be a good place for him. He is conservative and well known enough to win the Republican nomination in New Jersey. But he is too libertarian to win the national Republican nomination. And he would make a too popular libertarian candidate (3rd party). That would put 0bama back in the White House.

True. The Huckster is the one that worries me. The evangelicals and the Pro Lifers (of which I am one) will follow that fraud right over the cliff.

Huckster versus Dobbs is the perfect way to split conservatives. Too perfect.

If 0bama decides to run again in 2012, there’ll be no point in voting in a Dem primary. The Dems will cross over and vote for a RINO in the Republican primaries. Most likely Romney, since they know the conservatives won’t be jazzed to vote for him in November.
We have to start finding a way to avoid this, or Palin doesn’t stand a chance.

Delusions of grandeur.

While Dobbs is a “good guy” on some important issues, he would be nothing but a spoiler, creating a split and helping the dems.

There is a place for him in politics, but it’s not president and especially not at this time.

I wouldn’t vote for him.

Lou Dobbs is an old-fashioned liberal.
He is nothing more than Ralph Nader with a bigger megaphone.

It’s not Romney. It’s Huckabee. Listen to the left-wing media... listen to the talk-radio seminar callers... they’re building him up to tear Palin down. He’s their next McCain.

They actually fear Romney a little bit... just nowhere near as much as they fear Palin.

Tancredo is a solid social conservative. He will not run with social liberal like Dobbs.

I could see Dobbs trying to revitalize the Reform Party. If Dobbs runs, he could get 5-10 of the vote. This will help Obama if his approval ratings fall to the high 30s to low 40s.

Interesting. A Dobbs run would be just the thing to force the Pubbies to get their act together and come up with an actual platform.
