Alexandra Kerry is off the hook in her DUI case and won't face any criminal charges, Los Angeles prosecutors said Monday.
"We reviewed the arrest report and have declined to file criminal charges due to insufficient evidence," says L.A. City Attorney spokesman Frank Mateljan.
The daughter of Sen. John Kerry was pulled over in Hollywood on Nov. 19 for an expired registration, her father's spokesperson said.

Well that’s not the way it works in Florida, only sometimes will they drop charges, still forcing you to fight to get your license and possibly get a lawyer.

If American LEO do not stand up and defend the law, in the future some powerful person or person’s family member will kill someone and get away with it because the practice amongst LEO is established.
Communist China is a perfect example of that. They had an incident where the wife of a wealthy businessmen who owned a company with many local officials as partners. While driving her BMW in the narrow country road near the farmer’s market, a tractor going in the opposite direction acidentally knocked off one of the BMW passing mirrors. The woman driver was so enraged by the damaged that she turned around and chased the tractor and forced it off the road into a ditch. The tractor overturned, injuring the driver and killing the young passenger.
The local judge sentenced the woman to six months probation. Well the local farmers got pissed, rioted and burned the local government offices. The incident got attention all the way up to Bejing. Sensing this is a serious situation and not wanting it to explode, surprisingly the Communist government had the local official fired, and the businessman’s wife sentenced increased to fit the crime.
These local farmers were lucky that someone in Bejing who handled the incident properly, because givened China’s propensity for officials acting like Party Prince/Princess, they could have easily sided with a fellow Party Prince/Princess business owner’s wife and claim anymore protest is an act of sedition.
