As President Obama prepares to unveil his long-deliberated war strategy, the Taliban's supreme commander declared today that U.S.-led forces would find only defeat, dishonor and "a bed of thorns" in Afghanistan.
The warning, contained in a statement by Mullah Mohammed Omar , the movement's reclusive leader, was issued on the eve of one of the year's most important Muslim holidays, Eid al-Adha, or the Feast of Sacrifice. It marks the end of the hajj, the annual pilgrimage to Mecca, which is made by millions of observant Muslims.
In his missive -- punctuated by the flowery phrases and high-flown rhetoric typically employed in such messages -- Omar urged Afghans to disavow the "puppet" government of President Hamid Karzai, who was sworn in last week to a second term in office after an election clouded by massive vote-rigging.
"Break off all relations with the stooge administration in Kabul!" Omar urged, asserting that the Karzai government was a partner to "the evil process of colonialization and occupation."
The Taliban leader also denounced Karzai's calls for Taliban fighters and commanders to lay down their arms and join in the political process -- an appeal that now has the broad backing of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and Western governments.

I think a lot of people tend to agree with the Taliban leader. I wouldn’t want my son’s in that war...that is undecided.

As long as we have Obama and his Junta wanting to run the war, instead of the JCS, then we will surely loose.
The JCS have dug in their heels on policy, so Obama refuses to do anything about ordering more troops.
Obama needs adjusting. As in “out of office” ASAP.

I keep hoping for the day when Mullah Omar has an up-close and personal experience with a Hellfire missile.
My greater hope is that he has at least a few seconds to contemplate his coming doom and ohhhh, maybe lives just for a minute or two afterwards so he can feel the pain.
Put a bounty of 5000 dollars on the head of every Taliban member and turn the tribal leader’s lose.
