Wednesday Quotes: Happy Thanksgiving!
November 25, 2009

"I get choked this time of year when I think of the blessings bestowed upon me and my family, and it's all because of all of you."

"I say it every year:  I have people thanking me all day long for doing this show, but you have no idea what you have meant to me."

"Have you heard about the Navy SEALs who have been charged with roughing up a detainee?
Political correctness is literally destroying this country.
What we're telling the world is we don't value ourselves enough to even protect our own."

"You people who call yourselves scientists, if you don't conduct your own investigation and hold public hearings on
this whole global warming hoax, then you have given up your profession. This scandal is important on so many levels."

"For most of my life, my father thought he had failed because I didn't go to college. And I quit ballroom dance. And he certainly didn't understand the value of me playing Knights in White Satin by the Moody Blues every 54 minutes, as I had to do in Pittsburgh."

"Mr. Begley Jr., there's a reason I ran over you twice when I was on Jay Leno's show in that electric car: You're an idiot."

"Story:  'Sarah Obama, US President Barack Obama's 87-year-old Kenyan grandmother, has arrived in Mecca to perform the
Muslim pilgrimage of hajj, the Saudi daily Okaz reported Wednesday.' So it looks like Obama's bow to the Saudi king has paid off."

"One thing that I want to pound home here today is that liberalism, Marxism, socialism -- whatever it is -- kills."

"I hope they Mirandized this Ahmed Hashim Abed guy before they punched him."

"Michael Mann is a fraud.  Phil Jones is a fraud.  And James Hansen at NASA -- not only is he a fraud, he's insane."

"We just received a flash update from the Sullivan Group, the opinion auditing firm in Sacramento.
I have had the largest single jump in my opinion audit since the audits began 21 years ago because of my accuracy over the hoax of global warming.
I am now documented to be almost always right 99.5% of the time."

"Obama, living full sail in the Universe of Lies, has decided to attend the Copenhagen climate summit.
Oh, hallelujah!  The earth may be saved! But who's he going to bow down to over there?"

"I must say, I did get accolades for yesterday's program.  Just sharing a little secret with you, folks.
I often hear, 'Well, that was bang-up and great!'  I do appreciate the feedback."

"We also have a bite of Ed Begley Jr., about whom no one would have ever heard were it not for his clownish,
kooky, freakish support of global warming.  He was on Fox yesterday and had a meltdown.  It was hilarious."

"Scientists are like doctors:  nobody doubts them.  Well, actually, we do doubt them now that Obama has accused them of taking out tonsils for money."

"Liberals are never held to account for the inhumanity they propose and promote.  No one ever studies the human suffering that results from them, and thus they can continue to make claims and create images of salvation without ever having to answer for the untold damage they've already committed."

"Folks, I wish you could share the joy with me, the fun in irritating these liberals as I do.  Perhaps someday you will."

"A memo to Republican leaders:  Start begging to get on every nationally syndicated radio talk and television show and hammer away at Obama and the Democrats. Never stop teaching, explaining, ranting, and inspiring people -- because the hits just keep on coming."

"The Oprah's friend Gayle King was at the state dinner, but there was no Oprah.  I think it's unprecedented that the unprecedented queen, The Oprah, was not at the unprecedented dinner of the unprecedented first black president in the unprecedented first tent."

"Because Barack Obama lives in the Universe of Lies, he will do everything in his power to keep the lie of global warming alive, and in the process, seize trillions of dollars from Americans based upon these lies hyped by global warming speculators."

"Everyone connected with climatology, meteorology, or any project or grant connected to global warming has to make a choice: either circle the wagons, or come clean."

"This poor 77-year-old leader of India... He has to sit there and be insulted by this 48-year-old man-child:  'Well, such an honor for you to be my first state dinner guest.
How about that?' And then the Indian prime minister learns that his glorious state dinner is being held in a pitched tent outside.  He could've stayed home for that!"

"I just got the most curious e-mail:  'Rush, how did you have e-mail in 1992?'  I had e-mail back in the late eighties.
I'm a trailblazer in so many ways.  People have forgotten this."

"Howard Fineman of Newsweek says, 'Is Obama's star dimming as US stock drops?  I have a nagging sense that all that grandeur has become a little deceiving.'
You're just now picking that up, Howard?"

"I just got an e-mail from an angry woman:  'Dear Rush, How dare you use the term "chickification" to describe what has happened to the military?'
Well, I guess I had my being-yelled-at for today.  Glad we got it out of the way."

"ABC has just released breaking news:  'The network has announced "Christmas at the White House:  An Oprah Primetime Special," which includes an interview with the president, a conversation with the first couple, and a tour of the White House.'  I gotta look the NFL schedule up and find out who's playing that night."

Continually repeat ...

It's not about me.
I'm the President.

The Universe of Lies:  Climate Hoax Lives, Obama to Join Copenhagen
The hoax has been exposed, but the lies continue.
November 25, 2009

YouTube:  Hide The Decline - Climategate

VIDEO:  Ed Begley, Jr. Loses It on Fox News

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: And dadelut dadelut dadelut dadelut dadelut dadelut dadelut dadelut! Obama, living full sail in the Universe of Lies, has decided to attend the Copenhagen climate summit.  Oh, hallelujah!  The earth may be saved.  This is actually good news.  Everywhere he goes he is an abysmal failure, whether it's to secure the Olympics for Chicago or whether it's to China.  Who's he going to bow down to over there?  Is he going to bow down to the UN climate committee?  Who's he going to bow down to over there?  "President Barack Obama will go to Copenhagen next month to participate in a long-anticipated, high-stakes global climate summit, a White House official said.  The president will attend the summit on December 9th before heading to Oslo to accept the Nobel Peace Prize, the official told NBC News.  Obama's attendance had been in question until now.  The official spoke on the condition of anonymity because the formal announcement has not been made."  So another officially sanctioned leak by the Obama White House while Obama will then get pestered and perturbed over leaks.  It's not a bad sign that he's going.  It's typical.

They live in the Universe of Lies, The State-Controlled Media, but there is still not one word that the whole hoax of manmade global warming has been exposed, not one word.  In fact, two of the muckety-mucks at the Hadley CRU over at the University of East Anglia where they have basically used five research studies with fake, phony, peer review to establish this whole hoax, have now issued statements about this.  Let me see.  Did I print them out?  I did.  Let's go to the head honcho of the whole hoax, this guy Professor Phil Jones. Here is how his statement opens:

"In the frenzy of the past few days, the most vital issue is being overshadowed: we face enormous challenges ahead if we are to continue to live on this planet.  One has to wonder if it is a coincidence that this email correspondence has been stolen and published at this time. This may be a concerted attempt to put a question mark over the science of climate change in the run-up to the Copenhagen talks."  These people are in utter denial.  They call us climate change "deniers."  I've told you they're going to circle the wagons. They think this is going to blow over, and they think their buddies in the State-Controlled Media worldwide are going to ignore this and it's not going to get any traction -- and that's not going to happen.  This has been blown up.  I could do the whole show on it again today.  I have learned that much more.  I have that much in my formerly nicotine-stained fingers.

I could do a whole show on this.  I kind of felt bad about doing most of the show on it yesterday because it was a one-trick pony show and normally we cover more on this show than most networks do in an entire week.  I say more in five seconds than most hosts say in their career.  I could do it again.  I did get accolades, I must say, for yesterday's program.  I'm just sharing a little secret with you. It often happens. When I feel guilty about the job I've done I often hear, "That was bang-up and great."  So I do appreciate the feedback. (interruption)  Snerdley is shouting at me here in the IFB, if I don't do it, who else is going to do it?  That's true.  I'll tell you, let's just get started with it, because we've got some great audio sound bites.

You know what we did?  We went back to the archives and we got my first Nightline appearance debating Gore on this subject, 1992.  Those audio sound bites are coming up.  We also have Ed Begley Jr., about whom no one would have ever heard were it not for his clownish, kooky, freakish support of global warming.  He was on Fox yesterday with Stuart Varney sitting in for Neil Cavuto, and Ed Begley had a meltdown.  It's hilarious.  Also, Minnesotans for Global Warming released a music video parody of the song Draggin' the Line by Tommy James and the Shondells.  It's entitled Hide the Decline, and here's just a portion . The whole thing runs two-and-a-half minutes. I'm not going to play the whole thing.  We have about a little over a minute of it just to give you a taste of it.

Makin' up data the old hard way
Fudgin' the numbers day by day
Hiding the snow and the cold and a downward line
Hide the decline (hide the decline)
Michael Mann thinks he so smart
totally inventing the hockey stick chart
Ignoring the snow and the cold and a downward line
Hide the decline (hide the decline)
Hide the decline (hide the decline)
Oh Climategate I think you have sealed your fate
I hope you do a lot of time, cuz what you did was such a crime
Hide the decline (hide the decline)
Hide the decline (hide the decline)

RUSH: That's Minnesotans for Global Warming. This is a sample of the 2:30 video which is excellently done. They use Michael Mann's name in this.  I think one of the important things to do is to personalize this.  Global warming up to now has been revered because "scientists" are like doctors: Nobody doubts them.  Well, we do doubt them now that Obama has accused them of taking out tonsils for money, chopping off feet for money and doing chopadickoffamies and addadictomies for money.  Doctors have been demonized by the Democrats.  The scientists, however, are the essence of purity in our culture.  These geeks walking around in their white lab coats with their beakers and their calculators and their pince-nez glasses on edges of their nose, they are the studious and they have no names.  But they do have names, and they are frauds.  Michael Mann is a fraud.  Phil Jones is a fraud.  James Hansen at NASA is not only is a fraud, he's insane.

Newsweek is out with a puff piece on James Hansen today talking about the urgency of the destruction of our climate by us, in the midst of all this.  Remember, it was Time in 1974 which heralded global cooling and the coming ice age.  I got an e-mail from a subscriber to my website. It came in just before the program ended yesterday. (For those of you in Rio Linda, that would be about a minute before noon your time.)

"Hi, Rush.  Dr. Roy Spencer will be able to confirm all of this for you."  Dr. Spencer, by the way, is our official climatologist.  "We skeptics have known about the climate change fraud for so long.  CRU head Phil Jones is one of the lead authors of the United Nations IPCC position on climate change.  Phil Jones and the United Nations are one in the same only with Michael Mann and a few others.  The core UN position, by the way, is based on five research studies.  Yes, I said only five.  The Yamal study..." That's the Yamal Peninsula in Siberia. They studied three trees. The rings of three trees were analyzed to confirm heating and cooling trends of the earth thousands of years ago.  Three trees.  My buddy e-mailer here says: "The Yamal study uses a handful of cherry-picked trees to conclude that our global climate is changing, yet few know that the trees in Yamal that are still growing. Their tree ring sizes do not match recent temperature trends.  So, in other words, the size and thickness of living tree rings do not match the actual temperature records from the last few decades.  How can you guess the temperature from 1,000 years ago when the living tree rings don't reflect the current temperatures?  Doesn't that make the whole study suspect?"

Yeah, it makes it more than suspect.  It makes it worthless!  It makes it a lie.  It makes it a hoax.  "Many other studies are based on this flawed data and methodology.  Garbage upon garbage upon garbage."  I would love to identify who sent me this, but this man is a public figure, and I don't know that he wants to be identified because he works in media, and I may be outing him. So I'll wait for guidance.  He knows who he is, 'cause I just read this.  One thing that I want to pound home here today: Liberalism, Marxism, socialism, whatever it is, kills.  DDT was banned for the sake of our environment, for the sake of birds.  DDT was weakening the shells of little baby bird eggs, they said, and this was causing malformed and depletions in bird populations.  So we had to get rid of DDT thanks to an insaniac by the name of Rachel Carson -- may she rest in peace, may peace be upon her, whatever -- and as a result, malaria is killing millions all over Africa and the world, simply because we decided, erroneously, to "protect" something that wasn't being damaged.

The Third World is strewn with dead babies thanks to the banning of DDT.  It was advocated by the environmental movement in this country.  They should take credit for all the dead who might have otherwise lived.  Marxism, socialism, liberalism kills no matter how they dress it up.  Fifty million deaths since DDT was banned.  Today it's global warming, "climate change."  They could care less about the science.  They could care less about the facts.  It's been communism, statism. It's destroying the individual, destroying capitalism, destroying society, destroying freedom and liberty.  Global cooling -- an ice age, in fact -- they said was coming in 1974.  Then global warming.

Then they said the seas will rise and swallow the cities.  Now they call it "climate change," meaning any foul weather or act of God will be attributed to the horrible capitalist system of progress and advancement in lifestyles, which is being blamed for all of this.  They are never held to account for the inhumanity they propose and promote.  No one ever studies the human suffering and toll that results from the left's policies -- and thus they can continue to make claims and create images of salvation without ever having to answer for the untold damage they've already committed.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: The Washington Post today, in the Universe of Lies: "The percentage of Americans who believe global warming is happening has dipped from 80 to 72 percent in the past year, according to a new… poll, even as a majority still support a national cap on greenhouse gas emissions."  I don't believe this for a moment.  I think this is a rigged poll.  But if it is true, it shows just how much work there is ahead of us to convince people, and it's going to be a yeoman challenge because the state -- here we are in the middle of the full exposure of the biggest scientific hoax in the history of the world, and I'm not exaggerating.  The biggest scientific hoax. Look at all the people who are involved in it:  Every strata of society.

Textbooks have to be rewritten. Entire curricula at schools have to be redone.  Scientists have to be named and fired and outed.  Will it ever happen?  They're circling the wagons, and they're suggesting that this is a made-up contrivance -- even as they admit that the e-mails from the CRU appear to be genuine. So in the midst of all of this -- in the midst of the exposure of a full hoax, the grandest the world has ever seen -- the Washington Post is out with a poll that says 72% of the American people support greenhouse gas emission levels. And Newsweek has a puff piece on the insane, lunatic James Hansen of NASA, who has violated all kinds of federal laws as a federal employee by making opinionated public statements about an issue that he is not authorized to speak on.  And he gladly walks around free, untouched.

You know, it's a bubble here.  Look at it this way.  The global warming bubble, we just heard it burst.  The question is: How will that explosion affect the Universe of Lies?  This past decade, we have lived and suffered through a dot-com bubble, stock bubbles, the housing bubble. We all know the problem with bubbles: They eventually burst.  Bubbles refer to things that are grossly overvalued.  When bubbles burst, values leave the Universe of Lies and reenter the Universe of Reality.  The dot-com bubble brought reality to the stock market.  The housing bubble brought reality to the housing market.  And so will the global warming bubble eventually bring reality to science.  Manmade global warming may be in the process of reentering the Universe of Reality, finding its true value. It's a debunked theory of junk science promulgated by junk political scientists. Big Science can no longer be trusted as things stand today.  Science, the media, government, and academia: The Four Corners of Deceit in the Universe of Lies.

Bubbles are self-perpetuating climbs in value that defy free market principles. They defy checks and balances. They're lies -- counterfeit truth, if you will.  Bubbles occur when hope triumphs over reason, when speculation jumps ahead of fact.  It all becomes obvious in hindsight after values have fallen back to earth and reality.  A bubble occurs when speculators note rapid increases in value and buy in anticipation of further increases, rather than buying because something is undervalued.  Bubbles are false values.  It's why everybody worries about them.  It's why everybody worries, "When's this bubble going to burst?" Because everybody knows when you've got a bubble, you've got a fraud. You've got false values -- and when those bubbles burst, we all fall back into the Universe of Reality,  and it can be a very hard fall.

Our president, as uncomfortable as I am saying this, is a crook speculator perpetuating the global warming bubble -- and this will eventually be seen as a bubble.  Bubbles are best seen in hindsight, because whatever euphoria that once existed surrounding the issue or the industry vanishes, and things come back into focus.  This week we have seen and heard the global warming bubble burst.  The effects of this exploding bubble may impact the entire field of science, a field that once only existed in the Universe of Reality.  In fact, its purpose was to honestly, objectively, relentlessly define the Universe of Reality and disparage those things that exist in the Universe of Lies, and now science has been corrupted.

It is one of the Four Corners of Deceit in the Universe of Lies.  It is the antithesis of what we all thought science was.  The bursting of the global warming bubble has created a mess, and it cannot be swept under the rug -- no matter how hard the State-Controlled Media tries.  The industry known as "science" has just seen their Fannie Mae and Freddie Macs exposed, and just like with the housing bubble, the United States government is in the middle of this fraud.  Our government has fueled the speculation around the housing and global warming bubbles.  They have tried to profit from it.  They will never admit responsibility.  Neither bubble will ever be investigated by this government.

But did the global warming bubble really burst?  It did for those of us who live in the Universe of Reality.  Barack Obama does not live there.  He's on his way to Copenhagen.  They live in the Universe of Lies and Deceit -- and they live there with the State-Controlled Media and academia, and far too many people who dare call themselves "scientists" today.  Because Barack Obama lives in the Universe of Lies, he will do everything in his power to keep the lie of global warming alive -- and in the process, seize trillions of dollars from Americans based upon phony lies hyped by global warming speculators masquerading as scientists, when they are nothing other than leftist political hacks who have so far escaped with anonymity.

We need to name them.  Phil Jones is the lead culprit here, and he has many associates like this Mann character.  Those of us who inhabiting the Universe of Reality just witnessed a huge burst, a huge explosion.  The global warming bubble has burst.  We'll see how this explosion affects the Universe of Lies.  Back with Ed Begley Jr.'s meltdown on Fox after this.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH:  Ed Begley Jr. melted down on the Fox News Channel yesterday with Stuart Varney sitting in for Neil Cavuto.  Here's the first question.  "You heard this, there seems to be some discussion amongst the climate community that maybe the evidence isn't there.  They're split, they're divided.  Do you ever think that maybe you're wrong about global warming?"

BEGLEY:  I think the science is very clear on global warming.  What these statements are will go down the path and see what happens in peer-reviewed studies.  Those are the key words here, Stuart: "peer-reviewed studies."  If these scientists have done something wrong it will be found out and their peers will determine it.  I don't think our geologists should write papers about being an actor or a newscaster, nor should... Don't get your information from me, folks, or any newscaster.

RUSH:  Mr. Begley Jr., there's a reason I ran over you twice when I was on Jay Leno's show in that electric car.  You're an idiot!  The whole point here is how they would not allow peer review of any of their studies!  They wouldn't permit peer review.  The things that were submitted for peer review were rubberstamped, because the magic phrase is "peer reviewed."  You people who call yourselves scientists, if you don't conduct your own investigation and hold public hearings on this whole thing, then you have given up your profession.  This scandal is important on so many levels.  Every science journal ought to be filled with articles on this for months and years.  Copenhagen should be transformed into an emergency session to save the reputations of those people who still have them.

Serious people better step forward and come to grips with what's gone down here.  They need ClimateGate hearings now to protect their own industry, their own reputations.  This is a genuine emergency.  The earth is not "in the balance here," science is.  Entire professions are on the verge of being seen in the same light as a circus.  Everyone connected with climatology, meteorology, or any project or grant connected to global warming has to make a choice.  They can either circle the wagons or they can come clean.  Frankly, anyone who calls himself or herself a scientist had better get involved here.  No one in the science community can sit this out.  The fix is in.  People in the science community can either help clean up this mess or get swept up in it.

Trillions of dollars are at stake.  Reputations are at stake.  Entire professions are at stake.  The equivalent of a nuclear bomb went off in the scientific community last week, and everybody in it is radioactive.  There's only one known cure -- and that treatment is painful, but it's preferable to death -- and that's the truth.  Get the truth out.  Ask for forgiveness. Swear your allegiance to facts, truth, and objective thinking again.  Swear off of politics!  Reject politics.  The con game is over.  The only way out is to come clean.  Your entire profession is at risk for losing its entire reputation and being attached firmly as a left-wing liberal hack organization.  It already is.  It's one of the Four Corners of Deceit that the left uses to spread lies and their agenda all over this planet: Science, media, government, academia.  Peer review, Mr. Begley?  There wasn't any!  That's the magic phrase and next, you'll hear how it works.  Just shout the other side down.

BEGLEY:  There's not 700 climate scientists.  There's weathermen and other people in there.  There are some climate scientists. Peer reviewed --

VARNEY:  The science is not in.

BEGLEY:  It is in!

VARNEY:  No.

BEGLEY:  Stuart, quit saying that!

VARNEY:  The debate is not over, sir.

BEGLEY:  Peer-reviewed studies.  Go to Science magazine, folks, Nature magazine.  Go to somebody you trust National Geographic.  Don't get it from you or me.  Don't get it from Rush Limbaugh or Glenn Beck.  Scientists, people with PhDs.

VARNEY:  All right.

BEGLEY:  Weathermen.  Not weathermen.  Science.

RUSH:  Ed Begley Jr. says don't listen to him.  He's right.  But you can't listen to scientists, either.  They have corrupted themselves.  People who claim to be scientists who are actually political hacks have corrupted the whole word, the whole notion of science.  Peer review?  There's no peer review that went on here.  That's the whole point.  Here's the next meltdown.

BEGLEY:  Impose?  Why do you have to impose your fear on me --

VARNEY:  Let me explain --

BEGLEY:  Go ahead.

VARNEY:  -- what I'm talking about.  If cap and trade goes through, I'm going to have to have a warning label on my house.  There's going to be an --

BEGLEY:  Stop!  Wait, excuse me --

(cross-talk)

VARNEY:  There is an energy audit going on in my house.  Yes, sir, there is --

BEGLEY:  You should have an energy audit on your home to make it more effective (sic)!

VARNEY:  Okay.

BEGLEY:  I just had an energy audit --

VARNEY:  I'm not allowed to buy --

BEGLEY:  -- on my home and I reduced my bills by half.

VARNEY:  I am not allowed to buy --

BEGLEY:  Why don't you want an energy audit?

VARNEY:  I am not allowed to buy incandescent lightbulbs.

RUSH:  "Why don't you want an energy audit?" Why don't you want the government coming into your house and managing your thermostat and your appliances, asks Ed Begley Jr.  There's one more bite where the meltdown really happens, but sadly, my friends, I'll have to get to it in a moment.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH:  And we're back, Rush Limbaugh, as usual, talent on loan from God.  If you missed the opening, there was an emergency audit conducted by the Sullivan Group after this week's broadcasts, which have ratcheted up my accuracy rating, largest increment it's ever happened because of 20 years of assertions about global warming being a hoax now having been established true, I'm now documented to be almost always right 99.5% of the time.  You do not know what it takes to move it two-tenths of a percentage point, folks, when you're this high.  This is stunning.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: Ed Begley Jr. Ed Begley Jr. is what?  He's an actor.  He sells us on make-believe.  It makes perfect sense that Ed Begley Jr. would be selling the make believe of global warming.  Here is the final statement of his meltdown with Stuart Varney on Fox yesterday afternoon.

BEGLEY:  Nobody's going to come into your house!

VARNEY:  You can't have this kind of lightbulb.

BEGLEY:  What is an Easy-Bake Oven?  The little kid's toy, the Easy-Bake Oven?

VARNEY:  Why do you want (unintelligible)

BEGLEY:  A lightbulb is a little mini-toaster.

VARNEY:  Why do you want...?

BEGLEY:  Because they're the best technology!

VARNEY:  Do you want me pushing you around?

BEGLEY:  You're spewing your nonsense here yet again.

VARNEY:  Nonsense?

BEGLEY:  The air in LA is twice as clean as it was in 1970.  Why?  Because of good technologies.

VARNEY:  That's got nothing to do with global warming.

BEGLEY:  It has everything to do with good science.

VARNEY:  Nothing to do with global warming.

BEGLEY:  It has everything to do with finance and cleaning up the air.  You people said it wouldn't work.

VARNEY:  What does it have to do with global warming?

BEGLEY:  We have cleaner air in LA because of the catalytic converter.

VARNEY:  It has nothing to do with global warming.

BEGLEY:  I know it doesn't, but you --

VARNEY:  Thank you.

BEGLEY:   -- said it before.  You said it about seat belts and airbags.  You spew -- you spew these lies about how much it's going to cost.  Do you have an insurance policy on your house?

VARNEY:  Lies?

BEGLEY:  Do you have an insurance -- a fire policy on your house? Do you have one?

VARNEY:  Yes.

BEGLEY:  Why don't you have an insurance policy on global warming?

RUSH:  Because it's a hoax!  Now, Ed Begley Jr, in a previous sound bite, said, "Don't listen to me, and don't listen to Rush Limbaugh," and don't listen to you, don't listen to me.  He said, "Listen to the scientists."  Well, I have this from his own damn website.  He said, "Don't ask a geologist about acting and don't ask him about science."  He's got a website page called "Ask Ed."  Click on the topic you want to talk to Ed about:  Food, energy, clothing, transportation, recycling, house.  Nothing about acting.  He says, "Don't ask me," yet his own damn website wants you to ask him!

This from his own Ask Ed Web page" Ed tells people how to buy carbon credits. -- A lot of the tips on this website focus on saving energy, but why is that important?  It's great to lower your energy bills and save money, but what's the bigger picture?"  Yada yada yada yada yada.  "It's tough to lower your carbon footprint all the way to zero.  That's where carbon offsets can help.  Carbon offsets are a way of balancing out your..." All of this is worthless; all of this is a hoax.

If It's About Science Not Politics Release the Data, Climate Hoaxers!
Rush flashes back to his 1992 face-off with Algore.
November 25, 2009 <br

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: I cannot emphasize this enough.  Those of you who call yourself scientists, if you don't conduct your own investigation here, your entire field is bunk. Your entire field will be viewed with as much cynicism as people view politics, because that's what you've become.  You're destroying what once was a pursuit of truth, confirmed and confirmed and confirmed and confirmed. Now science is one of the Four Corners of Deceit in the Universe of Lies.  Here is one of these e-mails from the Hadley Climate Research Unit, from Phil Jones to his partner in crime, Michael Mann:

"Dear Mike:  See the attached.  Odd quote by McIntyre in the middle of this.  He's not interested in challenging the science of climate change or nitpicking.  He's simply asking that the data be made available.  'The only policy I want people to change is their data access policy,' he says.  I must have been in a parallel universe for the past seven or eight years.  I'm off at noon today, back on August 20, I'll be checking e-mail once a day."  This was the point: A Canadian scientist just wants the data and said, "Would you guys just release the data?"  It hasn't been "peer reviewed." That's the whole point, Mr. Begley! They haven't let anybody see it.  They're saying, "Trust us," and these e-mails say, "We will destroy the data before we let people see it.  We're not going to respond to Freedom of Information Act requests.  We will delete it. We will destroy it before we let people see it."  They admit it here! McIntyre, he's not interested in challenging the science.  He just wants to see the data.  They are not and never have released the data that confirms all of this because it doesn't confirm it.

If it's science, and if it's the truth, and if you are so brilliant to have discovered it, let the world see it and earn your reputation and money that way!  But that's not what this is about.  This is about advancing socialism, liberalism, Marxism, whatever you want to call it.  It's about advancing an agenda that takes freedom away from people -- or individuality. It destroys capitalism and seeks to establish everybody under the auspices of a giant world government somewhere in the United Nations.  That's what this is about and it has been exposed.  Here's Jim Inhofe, Senator from Oklahoma last night, also on Your World With Neil Cavuto.  Stuart Varney:  "Senator, I believe you have an announcement fresh for us at Fox News.  What is it?"

INHOFE:  Today, I'm announcing the investigation. I'm the ranking member of the Environment and Public Works Committee.  We have sent out letters today to a number of government agencies, to the IGs, as a part of the investigation into the disclosure of e-mails and so forth.  Also, we've sent them to the scientists whose names have appeared on some of the documents that have been revealed the last few days.  And many of these scientists are scientists I'm very familiar with; they're the insiders at the IPCC that I think all along have been trying to hide the real -- avoid the real science in this whole notion about global warming.

RUSH:  He's exactly right.  So a Republican senator is calling for an investigation, but I'll tell you: I'll pound this for as long as necessary.  I know that many of you in this audience are scientists.  If you don't demand the truth on this, this is going to take you down.  Anybody that calls themselves a scientific researcher, especially in climate or global meteorological systems, if you don't challenge this and demand an investigation in the truth you're going to get swept up in it.  I want to go back to 1992, my first ever appearance on Nightline.  It happened to be a discussion of global warming with Algore.  This was before he was vice president.  This is February 4th of 1992.  Ted Koppel: "Joining us is Senator Al Gore, whose new book is Earth in the Balance, and Rush Limbaugh, whose syndicated radio show is heard around the country.  There is, Senator Gore, a growing feeling -- and I don't want to say it represents anything representing a majority yet, but a growing feeling -- that sometimes the environmentalists are putting the spotted owl and the snail darter ahead of human beings.

ALGORE:  We now face a global ecological crisis that is more serious than anything human civilization has ever faced, and there's a problem of scale here.  To discuss, uh, the friction in the passage and implementation of some of the laws on the local environment -- and to weigh at the same time that against this unprecedented global crisis -- I think presents a -- a problem of scale.

RUSH:  This is 17 years ago, folks.  "Unprecedented."  In fact, The Politico today has a story ripping the Obama administration for using the word "unprecedented" about everything that they do.  This poor guy from India, this 77-year-old leader of India, he gets to come to Washington and he has to sit there and be insulted by this 48-year-old man-child saying (Obama impression), "It's such an honor for you to be my first guest at my first state dinner. How about that?"  And then the Indian prime minister learns that his glorious state dinner is being held in a pitched tent outside! He coulda stayed home for that.  Now back to me and Algore on Nightline.  I showed no fear going up against a US Senator, even when Gore said I was lying.  Koppel said, "Rush, I've listened to you many afternoons, as you know.  You tend to -- I don't want to say you dismiss all these issues, but at least you dismiss them as having been proven beyond a shadow of a doubt."

RUSH 1992: There is not a crisis.  See, this is the problem I have.  I don't think the earth is fragile. I don't think the ecology is fragilely balanced and I think that the doomsday industry that is typified by members of the Hollywood acting community who say, "We've only got ten years left to save our planet, we've gotta act now," there's no way, if what these people say is true, that we could solve these problems in ten years anyway. ... Everything in this country today seems to be a crisis.  We can't do anything without having to face it as a crisis. We don't have any time to think about it.  There are as many scientists, maybe even more on the opposite side of all of these doomsday predictions, and I think that --

ALGORE:  That's not true.

RUSH 1992:  Oh, yes, there are!

RUSH:  "Oh, yes, there are."  "That's not true."  See, the "consensus" argument was forming even then.  Now, as you listen to this, I want to tell you one thing that happened after this show.  Actually two things happened because of this show, but the one I'll tell you about right now. (Remind me about the other one, Snerdley)  What happened was, when I got home, I checked my e-mail that night and the next day, and I got ripped to shreds by scientists on my side of the issue for letting Gore get away with that argument or this argument or that argument and then they said, "Why did they have you on?  You're not a scientist.  Gore is out there spouting a bunch of phony science, and you're not even talking on the same level."  I wrote back, and I said the next day on the radio: "This is exactly how this issue is going to have to be approached, because it's not about science."  I told them that back in 1992: It's not about science.  It's about a political tactic, crisis, and guilt-spreading all designed to raise taxes and get people to willingly give up their freedom under the guise that they have caused this destruction that's going to be wipe us all out in a few short years if they don't submit to tax increases and a loss of freedom.  This has been a pet peeve issue of mine.  It's one of my foundational issues, in fact, defining my whole worldview.  Let's keep going with this.  We just heard Gore, "That's not true," and I said, "Oh yes, there are."  Algore then said this.

ALGORE:  The question of whether or not the earth is fragile.  Are we as human beings now capable of doing serious damage to the global environment?  That's really the key difference between the --

RUSH 1992:  Do you think we are?

ALGORE:  Yes, I think so.  I think three things have changed, in our lifetimes, incidentally.  Number one: The population explosion now adds the entire population of China every ten years.  Number two: We've got new technologies we never had before like chlorofluorocarbons, which magnify our impact on the earth.  Just as nuclear weapons transformed warfare, these thousands of new technologies that magnify our ability to exploit the earth, change our relationship to the earth.

RUSH:  So Koppel then said, "Rush Limbaugh, we've both run into politicians during our careers who know how to fake it on an issue.  I don't know of anybody on Capitol Hill who is more knowledgeable on the subject of environment than Algore.  You have to take seriously what he says."

RUSH 1992:  The environmental movement as fueled by the militants who lead it, I think, is the new home of socialism.  I think it is. They've adopted a constituency here which can't speak -- that is trees and rocks and so forth -- and can't reject the so-called help and concern that the advocates are giving it, and gives them a stage from which to constantly launch attacks at capitalism.  If you listen to what Senator Gore said, it is manmade products which are causing the ozone depletion. Yet Mt. Pinatubo has put 570 times the amount of chlorine into the atmospheric in one eruption than all of manmade chlorofluorocarbons in one year; and the ultraviolet radiation measured on this country's surface since 1974 has shown no increase whatsoever.

RUSH:  That's 1992, 17 years ago.  The other thing that happened was, most of my life my father thought he had failed because I didn't go to college -- and I quit ballroom dance.  I quit college because I was forced to take ballroom dance and my mother took my car away from me and drove me to ballroom dance class every day.  So I said, "It's not for me."  I moved to Sacramento and started my radio career.  Throughout my radio career my dad never understood where I was going. He didn't see the value in playing Donny Osmond records on the radio -- and then he certainly didn't understand the value of playing Knights in White Satin by the Moody Blues every 54 minutes, as I had to do in Pittsburgh (ahem) as a deejay not in charge of my destiny.

At any rate, I finally got to Sacramento in 1984, but he couldn't hear me in Sacramento.  That's where my success track began.  In 1988 my national program starts.  His hearing loss accelerated.  He never got to hear me on the radio.  He could not hear.  He had to listen to everybody tell him what was going on.  The first time that he heard me on any such show was that Nightline show, and in the first commercial break, my dad turned to my mother -- my mother told me this story. My dad turned to my mother and said, "Millie..." 'cause remember, I didn't go to college. I'm not supposed to know anything.  He said, "Millie, where did he learn that?"  And she told me that she turned to him and said, "From you, silly."  And I wrote about the incident in one of my books -- which, incidentally, both sold two-and-a-half million copies, and my second one sold two million copies in about six weeks.  That seems to have been forgotten in the recent frenzy over tabulating book sales.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH:  I just got the most curious e-mail.  A guy writes "Rush, how did you have e-mail in 1992?"  I had e-mail back in the late eighties.  I got my first computer in 1985. It was an Apple IIc.  ProDOS was the operating system. Then I stepped up to a Macintosh when I could afford one, and I got a CompuServe account when I was working in Sacramento in the late eighties, 1986 or '87.  I started reading news wires and so forth online, on my Mac. Even when I had the Apple IIc it had CompuServe and had had e-mail.  I was talking to people on the Internet at the time, before you needed browsers. There wasn't a browser.  The Internet was just a military and scientific tool. That's who was using it.  (That Algore invented, by the way.)  So I had e-mail.  When they first started doing stories about me, ladies and gentlemen, they referred to me as the-most-connected-with-his-audience host out there because of this. I was a trailblazer in so many ways.  People have forgotten.

RUSH: Here's Lawrence in St. Petersburg, Florida, it's great to have you on the program, sir.  Hello.

CALLER:  Hello, Rush.  It's a pleasure and an honor to speak to the great one.

RUSH:  Thank you, sir.

CALLER:  I bow to you.

RUSH:  (laughing)  No one bows to me.  I don't tolerate that.

CALLER:  Well, please accept it.  In regards to your pet peeve on the Ponzi scheme, the climate hoax, how long do you think the Republicans will be before they get out there and move the ball forward with this opportunity and speak their piece like they've been duped?

RUSH:  Well, one of them has, Senator James Inhofe, he's going to call on his committee for an investigation in the Senate.  Now, the Democrats run the committee so we'll see how far it gets but he's gonna try to get to the bottom of it.  You can ask that question on a number of things.  Where are the Republicans on health care?  Where are the Republicans on cap and trade?  Remember, we're not even a year into this kingdom, and there's still a great fear of criticizing Obama because they're going to turn around and call you a racist.

CALLER:  Well, they are doing that now, sir. But I believe that if the Republicans or any conservatives want to take back the country, they need to blow their horns now and let people know that they're not going along to get along.

RUSH:  Hey, I agree. I said that earlier in this show: It's time to get on every television show you can! The global warming hoax is a perfect platform to get on the radio, on the TV, anywhere you can and start denouncing the entire liberal agenda.  We're on the same page out there, sir.  Therefore I accept your bow.

Mizzou:  No Greenhouse Gas Caps
Rush's home state university makes him proud.
November 25, 2009

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: Ladies and gentlemen, on Saturday there's a college football game at 3:30 in the afternoon.  It's an annual game.  The Mizzou Tigers against the Kansas Jayhawks.  This is a real rivalry.  It is a real border war.  It has roots.  Normally this game is played at night, but this year the two teams are not really going anywhere so they've moved the game to 3:30 in the afternoon.  I think it's being played at "Airhead" Stadium in Kansas City.  But I want to talk to all of you in Kansas right now.  Because if you care about your country, everybody in America roots for Mizzou on Saturday afternoon, and here's why:  "The University of Missouri is opposing federal legislation that would put caps on its greenhouse gas emissions because those limits would cost millions, UM System President Gary Forsee said in a letter to federal lawmakers."

He has said this in a letter to federal lawmakers.  "'Given the impact of such unattainable increases on the university’s already hard-pressed budget, we urge you to oppose these bills or ensure that specific exemptions are included,' Forsee wrote in the letter, sent to Missouri’s entire congressional delegation. Cap-and-trade legislation already passed in the House and passed out of the Senate Environment Committee this month. The bill would require industries to limit greenhouse gas emissions in a phased-in process starting in 2012 and running through 2050."  I have friends that live in Kansas, and I know that they are going to overwhelmingly support Mizzou Saturday afternoon.

This is a gutsy move for Gary Forsee to make, because colleges all over the country basically beg for money. They beg for money. Even if they've got a successful football program they're out there begging for money, and who do you beg for money from?  Members of Congress.  Yet Forsee is putting his university and the state (and even the country) ahead of what might otherwise be a personal pursuit to go out and make a deal to get some money here.  This is a really gutsy and courageous move.  Now, I don't want to say too much about it more than I already have, 'cause I like Gary Forsee and I don't want to harm his reputation by having it be said that I know him and went to school with him and really like what he's doing here.  I guess I just did.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH:  Ladies and gentlemen, let me clarify one thing: For those of you liberals out there listening to the program -- and you know who you are, and we know who you are -- we know you're there.  I just want it known I did not consult Gary Forsee nor did he consult me before writing his letter to the Missouri congressional delegation asking them to stop cap and trade.  I had no idea he was doing it until I saw the news story.

Finally!  A Decision on Afghan War
Will they detain Obama when he goes to West Point?
November 25, 2009

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: By the way, the spin on Afghanistan has begun in advance of President Obama and his trip to West Point to announce his great war strategy for Afghanistan.  I asked earlier: I wonder if the Army will detain him while he's there.  It's a dream.  I know it won't happen.

But wasn't it just last week...? Snerdley help me out on this. Wasn't it just last week that the people of this country were against the war?  In growing numbers they were against the war because nobody had a strategy. There didn't seem to be any reason we were there and the support for being there was eroded.  War fatigue! I mean, it was plummeting.  Well, guess what?  Guess what now, folks?  It's a miracle!  Andrea Mitchell (NBC News, Washington) was on MSNBC this afternoon talking with the White House correspondent Savannah Guthrie.

MITCHELL:  There is in this latest, the newest Gallup poll today some encouraging news for the White House, that there is more public support at least for adding troops. For adding 40,000 more, is up two points. Less than 40,000, up three percentage points. Reducing the numbers, down five percentage points.  There's more people now favoring than disfavoring sending more troops.

GUTHRIE:  Yes! And this has to hearten the White House to see that trend!

RUSH:  Isn't this a miracle?  Isn't this a miracle?  Before the president has even announced his strategy, support for more troops is on the rise, in the Gallup poll.  A highly shouted there by Savannah Guthrie and Andrea Mitchell (NBC News, Washington).

RUSH: Spokane, Washington, Greg, you're next on the EIB Network.  Hello.

CALLER:  God bless you, Rush.

RUSH:  Thank you, sir.

CALLER:  I'm an Iraq veteran. My grandpa was a Pearl Harbor survivor. I reenlisted after 9/11 and had debilitating postwar trauma due in part to candidate Obama's efforts to secure defeat.  So I wanted to thank you for your inspiration to persevere.  Because of your own efforts on being fired a number of times, I ultimately got up off my back and found healing by transforming trauma into handmade wrought irony beauties. So, thanks, Rush.

RUSH:  Well, thank you, sir.  Happy Thanksgiving.

CALLER:  Oh, and likewise.  Thank you very much.  Keep up the good work, and thanks for your support of the troops.

RUSH:  Well, thank you, but it's all of us who daily thank you and all the rest of your people -- brethren, sisteren -- whatever in the military.

After 31 Years, Wife Tunes In EIB
The husband is never right, but Rush convinces her.
November 25, 2009

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT

Rick in Reno, you're next on the EIB Network.  Hello.

CALLER:  Rush, I've been trying to get hold on of you since the 12th, sent you an e-mail.  I had a birthday on the 11th of November, turned 64.

RUSH:  Happy birthday, sir.

CALLER:  I finally got my wife listening to you, and on that date, that also was our 31st anniversary.  And she said, "Guess what?  Rush has convinced me that the Sleep Number Bed we need, we are going to get another one," so I have an IOU from her that prior to Christmas she's going to end up ordering a brand-new pillow top Sleep Number Bed.  So not only do I need to thank you for all the things that you end up doing for all of us and every day, Rush, I thank God that we have a day like tomorrow when we can all kind of get together and say thank you for all of the things that we have in this country.  And I think that a lot of those things are brought daily from you to show us what we really have here.

RUSH:  Well, thank you very much, sir.  You're going to love the bed.  What did you do, or what did I do, rather, to bring your wife around?

CALLER:  Well, I'll tell you, she retired two years ago, and she never listens to the radio very much.  When she worked at the location she worked at it was always on a music station because that was what everyone else listened to.  I listened to you because in my job I have an office, and so consequently I listen to you every day and have ever since you've been on the radio.  So I finally convinced her at home, I said, "You need to end up listening to Rush on a daily basis."  We talk about you, we both have the same ideas that you have, and she finally started.  During her retirement she would end up leaving the radio on so when she's outside or whatever she's doing she'd come back in and you'd be on.  She found herself listening to you more and more, and was very thankful that I had ended up telling her that.  Then one day she heard you speaking, I don't know whether it was an advertisement or what it was, about the sleep number. A number of years ago I got the, I believe it's the 1000 series.  So anyhow, she had had some problems with it.  I was never able to get it adjusted correctly to her, and she kept saying, "Well, maybe it's the fact it's not a pillow top," so anyhow when she heard you talking about it and how great it was she decided that's what she wanted to get --

RUSH:  See, the husbands never know anything.

CALLER: What, sir?

RUSH:  The husbands never know anything.

CALLER:  (laughing)  I do know that my side is working quite well.

RUSH:  (laughing)  Let me ask you.  Do you take Zicam?

CALLER:  No, sir.

RUSH:  Oh!

CALLER:  Don't need to.

RUSH:  Oh, you don't get colds?

CALLER:  No, sir.

RUSH:  You don't even have it around in case you get a cold?

CALLER:  Well, you know, I do think that I have some in my cupboard but it's probably been there for about five or six years --

RUSH:  Hold onto it, it's golden.

CALLER:  I know the new stuff doesn't have the same, does it?

RUSH:  Oh, no, it works just as well but you got the gel swabs, right?

CALLER:  Yes.

RUSH:  Yes.  They go right in the rhinovirus area there right in the nostrils.

CALLER:  Yes, sir.

RUSH:  If you're Henry Waxman it's easier to use than if you're not.

CALLER: (laughing) Well all I can say, Rush, is thank you very much.  My wife asked me back in 1978 what I wanted for my birthday and I said, "I'd like to end up having you as my wife," and we'd been going together for about a year-and-a-half at that time, and she said, "Why do you want to get married on your birthday, so you don't forget your anniversary?"  I said, "No, I really just don't want to continue to remember my birthday."  I didn't feel there was any need to celebrate my birthday, so after 31 happy years -- oh, by the way, that's the last time I asked her for anything for my birthday just so you know.

RUSH:  Wow.

CALLER:  Yeah.

RUSH:  Well, you shouldn't have to ask for anything.

CALLER:  Well, I figured that that was enough.  But we've got 31 years in, and two beautiful grandkids, grandboys, and, as a matter of fact, whenever they come over, they want to sleep on that bed also.  They run the thing down to about 25 and they enjoy it while it's so soft.

RUSH:  Well, thanks for the call.  Look, you've made my day here.  Everybody that Snerdley's put on here that's thanking me, I appreciate it more than you will ever know.  And do not throw that Zicam out.  Keep it with you because what's going to happen, you just angered the cold gods.  You just said you never get a cold.  The cold gods don't like that.  It's sort of like when you're out playing golf and you hit a great shot, and you say, "I got this game figured out!"  The golf gods nail you on your next swing.  So the cold gods are going to get this guy.  He's gotta have it around, you should have it around, too.  At the first sign you think you're getting a cold, take it.  There's a couple different forms, lots of different flavors.  It works.  It'll reduce the severity and the length of time you have the cold.

The Real Story of Thanksgiving
An EIB Classic:  Thanks to God, not the Indians.
November 25, 2009

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: It's time for the traditional true story of Thanksgiving, as written by me in my second best seller of 2.5 million copies in hardback: See, I Told You So. "Chapter 6, Dead White Guys, or What the History Books Never Told You: The True Story of Thanksgiving -- The story of the Pilgrims begins in the early part of the seventeenth century (that's the 1600s for those of you in Rio Linda, California). The Church of England under King James I was persecuting anyone and everyone who did not recognize its absolute civil and spiritual authority. Those who challenged ecclesiastical authority and those who believed strongly in freedom of worship were hunted down, imprisoned, and sometimes executed for their beliefs. A group of separatists first fled to Holland and established a community.

"After eleven years, about forty of them agreed to make a perilous journey to the New World, where they would certainly face hardships, but could live and worship God according to the dictates of their own consciences. On August 1, 1620, the Mayflower set sail. It carried a total of 102 passengers, including forty Pilgrims led by William Bradford. On the journey, Bradford set up an agreement, a contract, that established just and equal laws for all members of the new community, irrespective of their religious beliefs. Where did the revolutionary ideas expressed in the Mayflower Compact come from? From the Bible. The Pilgrims were a people completely steeped in the lessons of the Old and New Testaments. They looked to the ancient Israelites for their example.

"And, because of the biblical precedents set forth in Scripture, they never doubted that their experiment would work. But this was no pleasure cruise, friends. The journey to the New World was a long and arduous one. And when the Pilgrims landed in New England in November, they found, according to Bradford's detailed journal, a cold, barren, desolate wilderness. There were no friends to greet them, he wrote. There were no houses to shelter them. There were no inns where they could refresh themselves. And the sacrifice they had made for freedom was just beginning. During the first winter, half the Pilgrims – including Bradford's own wife – died of either starvation, sickness or exposure. When spring finally came, Indians taught the settlers how to plant corn, fish for cod and skin beavers for coats.

"Life improved for the Pilgrims, but they did not yet prosper! This is important to understand because this is where modern American history lessons often end. Thanksgiving is actually explained in some textbooks as a holiday for which the Pilgrims gave thanks to the Indians for saving their lives, rather than as a devout expression of gratitude grounded in the tradition of both the Old and New Testaments. Here is the part that has been omitted: The original contract the Pilgrims had entered into with their merchant-sponsors in London called for everything they produced to go into a common store, and each member of the community was entitled to one common share. All of the land they cleared and the houses they built belong to the community as well. They were going to distribute it equally. All of the land they cleared and the houses they built belonged to the community as well.

"Nobody owned anything. They just had a share in it. It was a commune, folks. It was the forerunner to the communes we saw in the '60s and '70s out in California – and it was complete with organic vegetables, by the way. Bradford, who had become the new governor of the colony, recognized that this form of collectivism was as costly and destructive to the Pilgrims as that first harsh winter, which had taken so many lives. He decided to take bold action. Bradford assigned a plot of land to each family to work and manage, thus turning loose the power of the marketplace. That's right. Long before Karl Marx was even born, the Pilgrims had discovered and experimented with what could only be described as socialism. And what happened? It didn't work!"

"It never has worked! "What Bradford and his community found was that the most creative and industrious people had no incentive to work any harder than anyone else, unless they could utilize the power of personal motivation! But while most of the rest of the world has been experimenting with socialism for well over a hundred years – trying to refine it, perfect it, and re-invent it – the Pilgrims decided early on to scrap it permanently. What Bradford wrote about this social experiment should be in every schoolchild's history lesson. If it were, we might prevent much needless suffering in the future. 'The experience that we had in this common course and condition, tried sundry years...that by taking away property, and bringing community into a common wealth, would make them happy and flourishing – as if they were wiser than God,' Bradford wrote.

"'For this community [so far as it was] was found to breed much confusion and discontent, and retard much employment that would have been to their benefit and comfort. For young men that were most able and fit for labor and service did repine that they should spend their time and strength to work for other men's wives and children without any recompense ... that was thought injustice.' Why should you work for other people when you can't work for yourself? What's the point? Do you hear what he was saying, ladies and gentlemen? The Pilgrims found that people could not be expected to do their best work without incentive. So what did Bradford's community try next? They unharnessed the power of good old free enterprise by invoking the undergirding capitalistic principle of private property.

"Every family was assigned its own plot of land to work and permitted to market its own crops and products. And what was the result? 'This had very good success,' wrote Bradford, 'for it made all hands industrious, so as much more corn was planted than otherwise would have been.' Bradford doesn't sound like much of a Clintonite" I wrote then "does he? Is it possible that supply-side economics could have existed before the 1980s? Yes. Read the story of Joseph and Pharaoh in Genesis 41. Following Joseph's suggestion (Gen 41:34), Pharaoh reduced the tax on Egyptians to 20% during the 'seven years of plenty' and the 'Earth brought forth in heaps.' (Gen. 41:47) In no time, the Pilgrims found they had more food than they could eat themselves.

"Now, this is where it gets really good, folks, if you're laboring under the misconception that I was, as I was taught in school. So they set up trading posts and exchanged goods with the Indians. The profits allowed them to pay off their debts to the merchants in London. And the success and prosperity of the Plymouth settlement attracted more Europeans and began what came to be known as the 'Great Puritan Migration.'" But this story stops when the Indians taught the newly arrived suffering in socialism Pilgrims how to plant corn and fish for cod. That's where the story stops, and the story basically doesn't even begin there. The real story of Thanksgiving is William Bradford giving thanks to God for the guidance and the inspiration to set up a thriving colony. The bounty was shared with the Indians. They did sit down and they had dinner, and I think they had a turkey, but it was not the Indians who saved the day. It was capitalism and Scripture which saved the day."

George Washington (and Rush) Give Thanks to God for America
This country was, and remains, a miracle on earth.
November 25, 2009

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: George Washington's Thanksgiving address. Yeah. I have it. Now, before I read this to you, I've read it just a very few times on this program. Before I do, I want you to try to understand. This is in 1789, and I want you to understand: They knew. They knew what they had done, these Founders. They knew that they had participated in a miracle, in creating and founding this country.

George Washington's Thanksgiving Proclamation

Whereas it is the duty of all Nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey His will, to be grateful for His benefits, and humbly to implore His protection and favor -- and whereas both Houses of Congress have by their joint Committee requested me "to recommend to the People of the United States a day of public thanksgiving and prayer to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many signal favors of Almighty God especially by affording them an opportunity peaceably to establish a form of government for their safety and happiness."

Now therefore I do recommend and assign Thursday the 26th day of November next to be devoted by the People of these States to the service of that great and glorious Being, who is the beneficent Author of all the good that was, that is, or that will be -- That we may then all unite in rendering unto Him our sincere and humble thanks -- for His kind care and protection of the People of this Country previous to their becoming a Nation -- for the signal and manifold mercies, and the favorable interpositions of His Providence which we experienced in the tranquility [sic], union, and plenty, which we have since enjoyed -- for the peaceable and rational manner, in which we have been enabled to establish constitutions of government for our safety and happiness, and particularly the national One [capital O] now lately instituted -- for the civil and religious liberty with which we are blessed; and the means we have of acquiring and diffusing useful knowledge; and in general for all the great and various favors which He hath been pleased to confer upon us.

And also that we may then unite in most humbly offering our prayers and supplications to the great Lord and Ruler of Nations and beseech Him to pardon our national and other transgressions -- to enable us all, whether in public or private stations, to perform our several and relative duties properly and punctually -- to render our national government a blessing to all the people, by constantly being a Government of wise, just, and constitutional laws, discreetly and faithfully executed and obeyed -- to protect and guide all Sovereigns and Nations (especially such as have shewn [sic] kindness onto us) and to bless them with good government, peace, and concord -- To promote the knowledge and practice of true religion and virtue, and the encrease [sic] of science among them and us -- and generally to grant unto all Mankind such a degree of temporal prosperity as he alone knows to be best.

Given under my hand at the City of New York
the third day of October in the year of our Lord 1789
George Washington

Again, you gotta know his frame of mind when he issued this proclamation and wrote it. He knew what he had done. He knew what he had been a part of. They were as grateful as they could be. All of these stories that the multiculturalists are trying to put out that our Founders were atheists and they were agnostics or what have you. The first Thanksgiving was about thanking God just as the Pilgrims' first Thanksgiving was about thanking God. As we celebrate Thanksgiving this week, folks, our friends at the Heritage Foundation encourage you to remember and appreciate all the freedoms that we enjoy in this country. Freedom is why the Pilgrims came to America in the first place. They were in search of freedom of religion, freedom of speech -- press, assembly -- and a freedom of enterprise.

America had the kind of freedom the world had never seen before. That was what was exceptional about America. We still have it, though it's under assault. This is the freedom the Heritage Foundation is dedicated to preserving in America -- and me, too, and all of us. And there's a reason the Heritage Foundation has the word "heritage" in its name. They are dedicated to preserving the heritage of freedom on which America is founded. It's the same freedom that we are thankful for this week. So if you go online to AskHeritage.org, you'll learn more about America's Founding Fathers and first principles, and you could become a member of this great organization. It's easier than ever to become a member of the Heritage Foundation. It's easier than ever. Membership can be as little as $25, payable monthly, quarterly, or all at once if you want to splurge.

In these times, America needs an organization holding our country to its founding principles. Go online to AskHeritage.org. If nothing else, you'll be validated and educated, informed, and inspired. Now, ladies and gentlemen: Thanksgiving. This is traditionally the beginning of the, quote, unquote, "Christmas season," holiday season, which is one of my favorite times of year. We're just days away from starting our Mannheim Steamroller Christmas bump music rotation, and I get choked up at this time of year when I think of the blessings that have been bestowed upon me and my family, and it's all because of all of you. I say it every year. I have people thanking me all day long for doing this show. You have no idea what you have meant to me. There's no way I could properly express my gratitude, other than to thank you from the bottom of my heart and wish you and your family a happy Thanksgiving as well, as well as all uniformed military personnel in the theater battle overseas.

Dems Send Out Anti-Rush Talking Points for Liberals at Thanksgiving
They can't even leave politics out of family gatherings.
November 25, 2009

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: Ladies and gentlemen, during that call, show prep never stops, but during that call I received an e-mail from the editrix of my newsletter. It's the most widely read political newsletter in the country. It's called the Limbaugh Letter.  It appears that the Democrat Congressional Campaign Committee has put out a "cheat sheet" for Democrats to be able to refute things they've heard me say while they gather with their families at Thanksgiving.  Our editrix has signed up on their e-mail list, so she gets everything they send out.

Diana,

If your family is anything like our family's turkey and stuffing won't be the only thing being served up here at Thanksgiving.  Sooner or later that one Republican relative we all have sitting at the other end of the table is going to bring up politics.  To make sure you're ready, we wanted to bring you our special Thanksgiving edition of At Stake, the Thanksgiving cheat sheet. Just in case your Republican friends or relatives at Thanksgiving try to repeat anything they've heard from Rush Limbaugh or Glenn Beck or Sarah Palin, we wanted to help you respond with the truth.  Download our exclusive Thanksgiving cheat sheet to ensure that you are ready to respond with the real facts should any Republicans at your turkey day (Sic) feasts try to do their best Rush Limbaugh impersonation.

DCCC

They put it out! The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee put it out. They sent it out to people on their mailing list, you can sign up.  It's to their donors, or potential donors.  And Diana, who edits the newsletter, signed herself up and she gets this. It's called "At Stake." It's what's at stake this week.  Now, I haven't had a chance to open the PDF file or to download the actual cheat sheet.  I don't know if you have to pay for that. I don't know if you have to donate for it. But at the end it says "Contribute Now," and "Send to a Friend" and so forth.

Navy SEALs Charged for Punching Terrorist Behind Fallujah Atrocity
Republicans, you need to get out there and lead on this.
November 25, 2009

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: A memo to Republican leaders:  Start begging to get on every national syndicated radio talk show and television show and hammer away at Obama and the Democrats in Congress. Get on local radio in every contested state. Never stop teaching, explaining, ranting, and inspiring people.  Get out front. Be part of the national conversation, Republicans! Take questions. Find out just how angry the American people are and tell them how they can help, because the hits just keep on coming.

Have you heard about the four Navy SEALs who have been charged with roughing up a detainee?  You haven't heard about this? "Navy SEALs have secretly captured one of the most wanted terrorists in Iraq -- the alleged mastermind of the murder and mutilation of four Blackwater USA security guards in Fallujah in 2004. [T]hree of the SEALs who captured him are now facing criminal charges...  Ahmed Hashim Abed, whom the military code-named 'Objective Amber,' told investigators he was punched by his captors -- and he had the bloody lip to prove it. Now, instead of being lauded for bringing to justice a high-value target, three of the SEAL commandos, all enlisted, face assault charges and have retained lawyers...

"...The source said intelligence briefings provided to the SEALs stated that 'Objective Amber' planned the 2004 Fallujah ambush, and 'they had been tracking this guy for some time.' The Fallujah atrocity came to symbolize the brutality of the enemy in Iraq and the degree to which a homegrown insurgency was extending its grip over Iraq.  The four Blackwater agents were transporting supplies for a catering company when they were ambushed and killed by gunfire and grenades. Insurgents burned the bodies and dragged them through the city. They hanged two of the bodies on a bridge over the Euphrates River for the world press to photograph. Intelligence sources identified [Ahmed Hashim] Abed as the ringleader, but he had evaded capture until September." And three of the SEALs have been charged criminally because he was punched, a bloody lip.

Political correctness is literally destroying this country.  Our Armed Forces, even, have become exquisitely sensitive toward Nidal Malik Hasan, the Fort Hood terrorist; Ahmed Hashim Ahmed; and one wonders who else.  Credit the Power Line blog for the appropriate outrage to this.  But everybody is outraged by this, I mean it's just... He punched the guy and there are criminal charges! All of this stems from that stupid Abu Ghraib stuff and the so-called, supposed torture at Guantanamo Bay.  All of this is designed to make the United States look guilty as we seek to redeem our lost greatness and image in the eyes of the world -- and instead what we're doing is telegraphing our utter weakness, our utter vulnerability.  What we're telling the world is we don't value ourselves enough to even protect our own! We'll throw our own overboard so that our enemies don't think badly of us; even enlisted SEALs, the closest thing to supermen the US Navy produces.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: To the phones! We have Eric from the Washington area.  Hello, Eric, great to have you here.

CALLER:  Hi, Rush.  How are you?

RUSH:  Fine.  Thanks much.

CALLER:  Good.  I just wanted to say thanks for taking my call. I'm a first-time caller, and I am currently active duty military. I've been in military for about eight years, and I appreciate you putting out the story about my three brothers being charged with assault.  They're not blood brothers. They're brothers that I've served with.  The eight years I've been in the military, I've supported Naval Special Warfare, the majority of it. I am familiar and have worked with these guys for the better part of the last year-and-a-half directly that were involved in that (garbled) Operation Amber.  And it strikes me with nothing but fear as to what's taking place.  We saw it three years ago with the situation in Haditha. We're still concerned about how the rules of engagement in Iraq and Afghanistan, and everywhere else that we conduct these, quote, unquote, "overseas contingency operations." This guy was fighting us, and the SEALs used the absolute force that they deemed necessary to subdue him, to take him into custody --

RUSH:  Right, a fat lip!

CALLER:  -- so he could be turned over to the Iraqis.

RUSH:  A fat lip, a bloody lip for a guy who murdered four Blackwater people, hung 'em over a bridge, and burned their bodies! Folks, if you want to see the pictures -- if you want to see how horrible this incident was -- Debbie Schlussel at her blog has pictures. I warn you before going and looking at them. They're pictures of the militants celebrating the deaths and the corpses are still hanging over the bridge here, and the guy that did it was captured by these three SEALs and bloodied up a little bit.  And now they're being charged criminally!  I don't know how you guys keep doing what you do.  First they charge you by reputation with rape in Haditha, and you have members of Congress joining that.  They charge you and make you out to be torturers. You're out there defending freedom and liberty. You sign up, you're enlisted, and you are under assault by your own country!  I don't know how you do what you do.

CALLER:  And that's the other thing that absolutely irritates me with this is that it's the operators that are being charged with assault and, you know, the officers aren't taking the fall for it. It's just like we saw in Abu Ghraib. The enlisted took the fall for that -- and Abu Ghraib was not correct, and that's another thing I want to make clear, and this is: You know, the alleged assault that took place was as the team was on target and preparing to capture or kill this guy, and they could have killed him but they chose to take him into custody --

RUSH: Yeah.

CALLER:  -- despite him fighting them.

RUSH:  Eric, could you hang on?  I have a commercial break.  Can you hang on?

CALLER:  Yeah, Rush.

RUSH:  I hope they Mirandized this guy before they punched him.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH:  And we are back with Eric from the Washington, DC area.  We had to stop you for a commercial break.  You were explaining what happened at Abu Ghraib, how the officer corps somehow found a way to exempt themselves from any blame or punishment.

CALLER:  Yes, exactly -- and real quick, I am not a SEAL, have never have been a SEAL.  I'm active duty military, and my job is to support naval special workers. I support SEALs.  But I'm a public analyst; I'm not a SEAL.

RUSH:  Ah.

CALLER:  But no, and that's the thing (unintelligible). They're going to end up taking the fall for it.  I don't think it will. I don't think they will take the fall for it.  But they didn't do that anything wrong, and even in the officer leadership they didn't do anything wrong.

RUSH:  Wait a minute.  We're living in two different universes here.  These guys are in a war!  They're on a battlefield!  They are up against an enemy which has murdered four Americans, and they're charged as criminals for punching a guy and giving him a bloody lip in the middle of a war.

CALLER:  Exactly. And another thing is, you know, look at the guy that killed Mike Monsoor. He was a Medal of Honor recipient who actually went through the same survival, he was in the same survival classes I was. I had the very fortunate pleasure of knowing Mike Monsoor, and that guy is still on the streets in Iraq, and the Iraqi government's not doing much to help us in getting him off the street.  But if he is captured, be prepared for some street justice to come on that -- and you know what?  Things happen.   And there's absolutely nothing wrong with that, because he killed one of our brothers.  Actually, in 2007 I lost my best friend Steven Dougherty, who is the first naval intelligence professional killed since September 11th.  And thankfully the guy that killed him was killed during the course of that because it was an IED on the way back. But anyway, leadership needs to step out in front of this. And right now I'm calling on Secretary Gates to stand up and get rid of this situation. And I'm calling on the commander of Naval Special Warfare Command to absolutely diffuse this because --

RUSH:  What about the commander-in-chief?

CALLER:  Well, I don't hold much faith in him, but I better watch my words on that so I don't get charged with treason or mutiny.  I'd also like to say right now... You know, you were talking a little bit about Afghanistan earlier.  It's absolutely unsatisfactory that President Obama -- and I use that term loosely, "president" -- took so much time to, quote, unquote, "debate the situation."  They've made General McChrystal -- who I used to work for and very deeply admire, they made General McChrystal -- the front man on this. You know, General McChrystal is not only subordinate to the president but he's also subordinate to General Petraeus as the commander of US Central Command. Where has General Petraeus been on all this?  And I'm calling on -- just so that he can save face, General McChrystal should resign before he takes the blame for President Obama's failure.  And the public needs to hold President Obama accountable for what's going on in the Afpak region and not General McChrystal.

RUSH:  I have full faith that that being held to account will occur at some point down the road at the ballot box.

CALLER:  I do, too, Rush. I do, too.

RUSH:  Well Eric, I'm glad you called -- and I gotta tell you it's thrilling to hear you say what you said.  I could imagine the frustration people like you go through every day when you see this happen to your brothers, as you say.  And watching what happened at Abu Ghraib and the stuff down at Guantanamo Bay and now the whole notion that you're rapists, thugs, and torturers is an image that has been purposefully crafted to discredit the US military and has been purposefully crafted by the Democrat Party.

CALLER:  Exactly.  And I can tell you right now the sentiment among us the intelligence community is that. Because not only am I, you know, in the military but I'm also an intelligence professional, and the consensus amongst the intelligence community is, "Proceed with caution because you don't know what's going to happen down the road, basically who's going to see your analysis. Is it going to be made public, and are you going to be chastised for it?" So everybody's proceeding with caution.

RUSH:  Which means the United States is on defense?

CALLER:  Well, everybody's on defense right now in the Department of Defense, unfortunately -- and, you know, it's unfortunate.  I wish that... You know, I was a supporter of President Bush. I didn't agree with everything he did, but one thing's for sure: He was a leader, and our current commander-in-chief by far lacks leadership characteristics and abilities.

RUSH:  Eric, thanks for the call.

CALLER:  Thank you, Rush.

RUSH:  Great to have you here, and happy Thanksgiving.

CALLER:  All right, and happy Thanksgiving to you.

RUSH:  You bet.  That's Eric from parts unknown in Washington, a naval intelligence officer.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: Greg in North Carolina, great to have you on the phone here, sir.  Welcome to EIB Network.

CALLER:  Hi, Mr. Limbaugh, how are you?

RUSH:  Fine, sir.

CALLER:  Good.  I just wanted to call and kind of give a little more insight on this SEAL team situation.  I was in the teams for 20 years.  I have multiple-decade military service and came in not long after Vietnam.  I also worked for Blackwater for a few years in Iraq and know one of the guys that was killed at Fallujah quite well.  But, anyway, the point I'm going to get at here is that I think there's quite a bit of evidence that this is kind of a backwash from the situation of a couple months ago when the SEAL operators rescued Captain Phillips off the coast of Somalia.  You may recall that situation.

RUSH:  Yes, I do.

CALLER:  Well, the truth behind that situation is that the SEAL operators were kept off the scene for well over 36 hours.  There was a lot of foot dragging by the commander-in-chief's people in letting them in the theater.  After they were in theater and in place they were given a very restrictive ROE: Rules Of Engagement.  The ROE was so restrictive that really they couldn't engage their targets.  There were two previous opportunities to rescue Captain Phillips, and they were not allowed to take those opportunities.

RUSH:  Let me stop you here because people may not know.  We're talking Somali pirates. We're talking about the Maersk cargo ship that a bunch of Somali pirates, teenagers, took over. One of them eventually died, and the media credited Obama -- honest to God, folks, the media credited Obama -- with giving the order to pull the trigger.  Now you may resume the story, sir.

CALLER:  Okay. When they finally did engage the hostiles, they did it liberally interpreting the ROE, and the on-site commander finally was kind of fed up with the situation and gave them a weapons-free command and they were able to engage and rescue Captain Phillips.  The fallout from that was immediate and rather violent in its anger.  The White House people -- I don't know the president himself, I just know their representatives with the chain of command -- were absolutely livid with this and they did not want the rescue to be conducted in the way that it was.  You know, I cannot prove this because I would have to give names and I'm not giving names for obvious reasons. But the bottom line is that on very good, solid inside information, the national command authority past the Pentagon was not happy.

RUSH:  So let me cut to the chase here.  So what I think I hear you saying is the blowback that you mentioned is, this is payback for the SEALs violating the ROE on this captain of the Maersk; and this is the chain of command reasserting itself, letting everybody knows who's boss and what's going to happen to you if you don't follow orders?

CALLER:  That is my rather experienced opinion -- and, frankly, the opinion of others. I am very close to the special operations community here in North Carolina, and, you know, that opinion is surfacing.  These people are very vindictive -- and you have to understand, Mr. Limbaugh, you're very pro-military, and you always say wonderful things about our people in service, and we greatly appreciate it.  But I do have to say this, and I'd like to make this one point.  I've had two sons, by the way. My two eldest sons have done multiple tours in Afghanistan and Iraq.  The military of today is not the military that fought World War II. It is not even the military that fought the first Gulf War. It is a military that has been thoroughly politicized. It is a military that is suffering the fallout of Patricia Schroeder's ridiculous, politically correct policies that still have great power and sway in the military. And I'm just going to have to tell you: I do not mean to impugn the junior personnel in the military, the line troops, the junior officers.  I'm not talking about these people.  These people are doing a fine job.  They're outstanding people.  But the senior ranking, the civilian and senior ranking military personnel are thoroughly indoctrinated and on board with this politically correct agenda that's in the military.

RUSH:  Yeah. I'll tell you the most recent example of it. A glaring example was General Casey, more concerned about the "diversity" in his Army than the loss of life at Fort Hood.

CALLER:  General Casey, sir, and Wesley Clark are not the exceptions in the upper echelons.  They are the rule.  Those are the kinds of men that are running the show and they will throw the junior personnel under the bus to save themselves every time.  And that is my opinion.  Again, I don't mean to impugn any of the junior people.

RUSH:  We know what you mean.  We know exactly what you mean.

CALLER:  Okay.

RUSH:  Everything's been politically correctized -- chickified, if you will. That's one of the things I call it.  Can you hold on for a break?

CALLER:  Certainly.

RUSH:  I want you to explain to people what you meant. I think I know what you meant by the Patsy Schroeder stuff, Tailhook and all that, but I want you to explain exactly what you mean by that 'cause I'm sure you've got a lot of people curious.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: We rejoin our call with Greg from parts unknown in North Carolina, a former member of the Navy SEAL team who two sons who served two tours each in Iraq and Afghanistan.  What was it that Pat Schroeder did when she was a member of Congress from Colorado?

CALLER:  I guess the question would be: What didn't she do?  She was very influential in passing legislation and putting pressure on the military to basically and fundamentally feminize the military.  I can speak most clearly about the Navy, 'cause that was my experience at the time, especially when Admiral Kelso -- who was the CNO at the time -- kind of completely caved in after Tailhook and started instituting things like putting females on man-o-war, having the mixed training companies in boot camp and the like. And what Patricia Schroeder did was, with a really rather small cabal of very ambitious military officers -- who, by the way, violated military rules and regulations by petitioning in uniform on Capitol Hill for these changes, but nobody seemed to notice that -- were able to pass a lot of regulations through the Navy and the other branches that have, frankly, incorporated women into areas of the military where, being old-fashioned, I do not believe that they belong.  And this has caused numerous problems throughout the military.  Beyond that, I'm not exactly sure what else you would like me to add.

RUSH:  No, I thought that's what you were talking about but I wanted people to hear you say it.  Pat Schroeder was very liberal, huge feminist, and I wanted you to say the feminization. My word for it is chickification.  But it's happening throughout our culture. It's happening throughout the media as well.  And it's turning people soft and touchy-feely and so forth.  And I know what you mean: There's no room for that on the battlefield.

CALLER:  There is none.  And I'm very concerned about the future of our nation's military.  Again I do not mean to minimize the dangers that our military personnel are facing in this war.  However, it isn't a full-scale, knock-down-drag-out between conventional fighting forces.  I am concerned that if we ever do engage in that sort of warfare again -- and I think it's ultimately inevitable, I'm afraid -- that our military is not in the place where it needs to be.

RUSH:  Meaning? This is scary. Meaning they're not committed to victory, that there are other things which take precedence?

CALLER:  Absolutely, sir.  And, frankly, there's a billion Chinamen that are becoming more and more bellicose by the day, are being armed at our expense and with our expertise, and are becoming a growing threat by the day, and I --

RUSH:  I wouldn't worry about that. Obama charmed them on that trip over there.  He bowed down.

CALLER:  I saw that, as he bowed to their prime minister as well.

RUSH:  Greg, I gotta go.  I'm outta time sadly, but it's wonderful that you got through.  A thanksgiving blessing this audience got to hear you today.  Thank you, sir.

CALLER:  Thank you very much, Mr. Limbaugh.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH:  My friends, one of the most famous lines ever uttered by Patsy Schroeder was, "I have a vagina, and I know how to use it."  And I replied, "I have a brain and I have a penis, and I only have to use half of either."  Tailhook taught every officer that to advance, you gotta be PC.  That's another liberal legacy.  It just destroys everything it purports to improve.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: I got an e-mail, an angry woman.  Her name is Ashley, one of my all-time top ten favorite female names, by the way, when it's a woman's name.

Dear Rush:  How dare you, how dare you use the term chickification to describe what has happened to the military due primarily to the men at the top.  As a woman I would never give into political correctness over the lives of our soldiers.  I have a son in Iraq.  What's happened in the military has nothing to do with chickification.  I'm really tired of hearing the term.  Ashley.

Well, I guess I had my being yelled at for today, so we got it out of the way.  It happens at least once a day.  Maybe she doesn't understand what I mean by chickification.  Chickification is exactly what the SEAL team member described with the Tailhook situation and so forth.  But nevertheless I understand what she's talking about, but let me tell you something.  Chickification means precisely men stop being men.  They've been neutered and it results from a number of things:  nagging.  In this case not nagging, but in this case it results from clearly these guys saw the way to the top is PC, after Tailhook.  That's the way to the top, PC.  PC is destroying this country.  It's destroying institutions left and right.

Media Flip Over Rush's Quip About Sen. Landrieu Prostituting Her Vote
If you sell your health care vote for $300M, it fits.
November 25, 2009

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: I didn't know this stuff was going on out there, I just was advised of it -- and we're going to treat you to it as you and I listen to it perhaps for the first time together, depending on whether or not you watch PMSNBC.  The other day, I guess it was Monday, I opened this program by saying, "That might be the most expensive prostitute in the history of prostitutes," regarding the $300 million payoff from Dingy Harry to Mary Landrieu to get her vote to open debate on the health care bill.  So on MSNBC during a discussion about Senator Mary Landrieu, the host over there, Dylan Ratigan, said this.

RATIGAN:  In recent days bloggers, TV personalities alike have gone on the attack.  Take a listen.

RUSH ARCHIVE:  That may be, folks, that may be the most expensive prostitute in the history of prostitution.

RATIGAN:  Well, Louisiana's Democratic Party [is] not at all happy with those comments.  Tuesday the group called on the Republican Senator David Vitter to publicly denounce those accusations.

RUSH:  (laughing)  To call on David Vitter!  I have met David Vitter, Republican senator from Louisiana, and he is a great guy.  They're calling on David Vitter to denounce these comments.  Later on in the same show, Dylan Ratigan talking with a Democrat strategist about Mary Landrieu.

KOFINIS:  You're right and you're wrong.  I mean, you're right that I think that people have right to be, you know, frustrated and angry about what they see as kind of the dirtiness of the legislative process. And just, you know, just for a second, Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh, you know -- How do I put it nicely? -- are pigs for the comments they just made about Senator Landrieu. But I'll put that aside for a second.  So I understand, you know, there might be frustration about that. But then, you know, the reality is that sometimes you need to trade, and you need to make these deals in order to move legislation forward.

RUSH:  What a sellout.  That's Chris Kofinis. He's a Democrat strategerist.  Jay Leno on his show last night actually, again, sided with me.

LENO:  A lot of criticism over Louisiana Senator Mary Landrieu trading her vote on health care for $300 million.  Glenn Beck called her a high-class prostitute, Rush Limbaugh called her the most expensive prostitute in the history of prostitutes, and Eliot Spitzer called and asked for her phone number.  (laughter)

RUSH:  (laughing)  Oh, folks, I wish you could share the joy with me and the fun in irritating these people as I do.  It's so much fun, it's a delight and it's really something I wish you could experience as well.  Perhaps someday you will.

Sally Quinn Profiles WH Guest List
Let's hope she never tries to buy an NFL franchise.
November 25, 2009

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: Sally Quinn, ladies and gentlemen, was on Larry King Alive last night, and the way she described the crowd at the state dinner in the tent at the White House... Had I said it, what she said, I would be taken out of context and run out of this country.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: I really hope Sally Quinn does not have any desires of owning a National Football League team.

QUINN:  There are also a lot of African-Americans on this guest list, which I have not seen that many before and I think that that obviously is a statement that they're making.  And then, you know, there's a tip of the hat to Hollywood and Bollywood.  I mean, the Indians have their own film industry.  An awful lot of -- of big donors, too.

RUSH:  Now, can you imagine if I had said that?  If I'm looking at the guest list and said this? And how does she know looking at the guest list?  How does she know looking at the guest list?  She's profiling!  She's profiling by name.  Because she said here, "A lot of African-Americans on this guest list.  I've not seen that many before."  I'm quoting Sally Quinn, Mr. Goodell.  I didn't say it.

Watch it show up now.  (laughing)

LOL!

I heard some of Rush today while I was scurrying around getting things together for Thanksgiving. We'll be down the road a piece at 'The Family Farm,' tomorrow.

TWENTY-TWO people and counting so far; relatives, friends and a few stragglers; mostly Bachelor Farm Boys. Know any single females from 40-50 that are willing to relocate to Rural America and work like a dog from sun-up to sun-down for NO pay and NO perks? LOL! (Well, they WILL get Room & Board. Or, 'bored.')

Washing the dishes after dinner should just about do me in. I never like to leave MIL with all the clean-up, Bless Her Pea-Pickin' Heart.

I'm seriously going to need some of your BEST Champagne by the end of the day, tomorrow! :)

I had the good fortune and good timing to tune into Rush's program this a.m. just as he began the coverage of the Navy SEALs' court martial travesty. It behooves all to review the transcript of that segment.

CALLER:...But the senior ranking, the civilian and senior ranking military personnel are thoroughly indoctrinated and on board with this politically correct agenda that's in the military.
