Obama administration climate czar Carol Browner on Wednesday rejected claims that e-mails stolen from a British university show that climate scientists trumped up global-warming numbers, saying she considers the science settled.
"I'm sticking with the 2,500 scientists. These people have been studying this issue for a very long time and agree this problem is real," said Ms. Browner, whom President Obama has tapped as his chief of policy on global warming.
The e-mails were hacked from the Climate Research Unit at the University of East Anglia and have come to light over the past week. They appear to show scientists saying they've smoothed over data that doesn't back up their claims of warming, and pondering how to freeze out scientists who disagree with them.
Release of the e-mails has energized skeptics ahead of next month's major global warming meeting in Copenhagen, which is supposed to set the framework for a new global treaty to restrict greenhouse gas emissions.
The White House said Wednesday that Mr. Obama will personally travel to Copenhagen to commit the U.S. to greenhouse gas reductions.

Ms. Browner said the only people who still doubt global warming is happening and that humans are to blame are "a very small group of people who continue to say this isn't a real problem, that we don't need to do anything."
She also said the e-mails are only trickling out, and that the entire set hasn't been released.
Ms. Browner initially shrugged when asked about the e-mails, saying she didn't have a reaction. But when a reporter followed up, she said she will stick with the consensus of the 2,500 climate scientists on the International Panel on Climate Change who concluded global warming is occurring and is most likely being pushed by human actions.

Whenever I hear this “2500 scientists” crap from people I know and people I work with (most of whom are scientists) I reply “Name 5 of them”.
Most can’t name two.
Moreover, a significant fraction of those “2500 scientists” associated with the IPCC are government bureaucrats from government agencies associated with climate concerns; others may be actual scientists, but they’re from countries on the order of Gambia, who are only too happy to get a ticket to cool places like Kyoto and Copenhagen.
An appeal to “2500 scientists” isn’t an argument - it’s a strategy to avoid an argument. And if you’re Algore or Browner, and you don’t know shiite about science, that’s probably an understandable approach.
But the sad fact is: these international socialist “True AGW Believers” are more fervent in their communist-inspired “faith” that man is destroying the planet by merely “being here” than the capitalists and Christians they fervently hate believe in “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness”.
To coin a phrase.
The longer they remain in denial the bigger fools them become.
The logical fallacy of appealing to authority, but even that is meaningless because these “2,500 scientists” are some of those in these emails covering and altering data.
That's bull and an out and out lie. The entire data set is out there for download. I've downloaded it. Its just taking people a while to go through it all...but its all been released.
These people are letting those Cap and Trade tax, Dollar signs in their eyes, close their minds.
This whole scheme is a huge money ponzi scheme and many people have and will stand to get rich rich rich. The politicians nursing at the nipple of those rich benefactors and the idiotic rich celebrities stand to lose a lot. This is really so appropriate for all these people to be exposed as the frauds they really are but they can’t afford to fold willfully. They will try to perpetuate the lie that they have staked their claims on. I find myself thinking that God will not be mocked.

I want someone to show me where MILLIONS of deaths are attributed to increased levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.

In one of the video segments of the “Global Warming Swindle”, one of the commentators connects the dots of what happened to the vast Soviet propaganda machine of thousands and thousands of journalists and media controllers and infiltrators. The segment shows clips of people in this machine, its size, that it existed post-Soviet collapse without direction in disarray until a leadership emerged to direct these people to “Global Warming” and control of industry through climate regulation.
This is in my view not a hollow conspiracy stemming from paranoid thinking but rather an accurate inference of what happened to the old Soviet propaganda arm, a media organization trained in subversion and distortion of the truth.
We have just witnessed it and will oontinue to witness a centralized response to the expose of the CRU.
Unfortunately, the person in the office of the presidency is part of machine.
I wrote this and I believe it, because any rational leader who believes there are questions raised by this release of documents would call for investigation of this matter, and yet the actual response is entirely predictable only if the leadership is following an agenda of global control and taxation.

Ms Greener isn’t a fool, she’s a communist. These aren’t scientists they are activists using propaganda thinly veiled as science to fool the masses.
What do they care about facts? If they were concerned with facts they wouldn’t support global warming or communism.
