I agree. I just don’t get this whole thing. Are they feeling guilty about what someone did 400 years ago? They need to find something to do with the rest of their lives. It’s sad what happened, on both sides, but you can’t hold others accountable 400 years later.

I don’t think it has anything to do with guilt, I think it is rooted in conceit and vanity, they are saying... look, we are much better than those who killed.

If they looked around they might see their transgressions as well as injustices to be opposed, but to apologize for THEIR transgressions and stand against injustices being perpetrated NOW would be like hard, man.... they might even face persecution.

yep - else, if we keep gong down this road, I'm suing the English Crown that persecuted and took my ancestors lands because they refused to be good little Church of Englanders - after all, that was only 400 years ago.
