A professor at the University of California, San Diego says he has developed a cell phone tool that aims to help Illegal immigrants cross the U.S.-Mexico border.

Art professor and activist Ricardo Dominguez tells the North County Times on its Web site Saturday that the application he calls the Transborder Immigrant Tool uses global-positioning technology to chart the best route for dangerous desert crossings.

Send the ACLU a Christmas card this year.. Make sure it says CHRISTMAS

There is an email going around and there will be tens of thousands (HOPEFULLY) dumped on their office this Christmas season.

They WILL open them because a lot of their mail is donations.

Take up their time and give them a massive headache

I just printed off an 8x10 MERRY CHRISTMAS Celebrate the Birthday of Our LORD JESUS and put it into a standard #10 business envelope so it wouldn't look like a card. I also used a security envelope so they couldn't see through and know there wasn't a check.

I suggest passing this great idea to EVERYONE in your email friends list... make this a CHRISTMAS the ACLU will never forget!

Their Address
ACLU
125 BROAD STREET
18th Floor
NEW YORK, NY 10004

The border patrol agents can use the same information to find the best routes to CATCH the illegals...

When you are going to trust your life to a cell phone tool, make sure it is one devised by an art professor.

Border Patrol can download the tool also, plot the suggested tracks and round up the illegals. Great plan, Ricardo.

How about if we hack the app and have it send them on a 180 back to where they came from?

In a real world of true Americans he would have a pig” fat-wah” on his life. But not with ole whitie. This guy can be a total enabler to criminality & just turn his head & grab another six-pack.

Surely you jest! This MUST be a gag, more like something from The Onion than the SF CronicBull. Transborder Immigration Tool?!? I suppose this a$$clown is donating a portion of the sales of these things to breast cancer research?

I suggest low yield Nuclear/Chemical underground weapons testing along the entire unpopulated border areas.

This would trench it out nicely for us and act as a radiation/chemical deterrent for the criminals crossing over.

COOL,

Give about two dozen to our border patrol guys so that they can be waiting along the routes presented by this application. You know, in the military we would call this an enticement to a target rich environment.

How creative!

Of course it didn't occur to this idiot Ricardo, that the identical application (the cell phone tool) can be used by the authorities to identify the identical same routes.

Rocket science it ain't.

Take up their time and give them a massive headache

Specially if "Donation" is identified as the contents of the envelope.

I love this idea.

Count on me for at least ten Christmas cards...

Aiding and abetting. Yank the app and throw his sorry ass in jail.

Not possible.

Our own government has been aiding and abetting for years, based on the combination of PC, bureaucratic imbecility and fear of court action if they didn't.

Rest stops, maps, watering stations, food and blankets, the works; on the U.S. side of the border!.

What could be more "aiding and abbeting" than that?

He didn't invent anything new at all. My Nokia telephone has GPS and can do that. I just bought a handheld GPS with bluetooth online that I can use with my other cellphone.

Sounds like another Al Gore style whopper claiming to have invented a handheld GPS.

We need some Transborder Illegal Immigrant abatement devices installed to neuttralize this threat to our borders.... concertina, Claymores, Bouncing Bettys, M2, M60, etc.

I'd carpet bomb a five mile wide path on the Mex side and then shoot anyone who enters (from either side).

Someone should hack this software and redirect the illegals to Sherrif Joe’s tent city.
