Easy. Imagine the guy on the Uncle Ben's Rice Box, but reading his recipes from teleprompters. Everyone always liked Uncle Ben.
OTOH, McCain looked like something Central Casting sent over to play Ebenezer Scrooge. Everyone always hated Scrooge.
Since neither said anything even remotely sensible, or even intelligible, 53% of the sheeple went with Uncle Ben, figuring they might at least get something to eat.
I agree. Sadam was a grave long-term threat. If Bush had dithered, BHO would be complaining the Bush did not deal with Sadam when given the chance. Many criticized Bush I for the same reason.
If these criticisms came from a conservative, I would listen. This Marxist president has no credibility on the military and fighting our enemies. He is a Marxist apologist, just one document removed from totalitarian control.
