First of all the war in Iraq did not cost 1 trillion dollars. Second of all the war was not solely about WMD. But since you ask about WMD, the ones from Libya are all destroyed or in American hands. You see that particular nutbag gave them up because Bush scared the crap out of him.
Finally there were very good reasons to go to war in Iraq and Afghanistan. I'd be happy to debate you on that if you'd like.

Anger does not come close to describing my reception to this read (speech would impute some knowledge or what the speaker is talking about). Every time DumBO talked about how it was he who was going to do this or that, I got a sinking feeling of doom for the US. As I watched, I thought I saw a toothbrush mustache growing before my eyes, and wondering when the personal allegiances were going to be sworn.
The three strategies seem designed for failure. Wait 18 months in Helman, and walk in. His heart would have been in it if he had said Allahu akbar to the Afghan people. And, Pakistan is weaker than with Musharif and he wants to work with them.
My guess is he has his money on Navy and he wanted to put Army into a stupor for a month,
