So, michell obama in 2016 for you? I mean, look how great sticking to our ideological guns has worked out so far. 11 months of “hope and change” brought to you by ideological purists.

The perfect is the MORTAL ENEMY of the good.

If the Republicans want Obama then they will nominate the same old same again.

You see, it is their job to put up candidates that their party will vote for. It is not our job to vote for "a yellow dog" if they put it up to run.

I am not to blame for Obama being in office. The Republican Party is to blame for nominating John McCain.

That was an error.

They should not repeat that. Because I will NOT vote for McCain II any more than I voted for McCain I.

Thanks for giving us obama. Any other “help” you would like to offer to keep yourself ideologically pure? Maybe move to California and help keep Boxer and Pelosi in power? I am sure there are many extreme liberals that need your help to keep them in office.

The Republican Party is to blame for nominating John McCain.

Do you all recall how posters urged conservatives to vote the Republican ticket even though they didn't want McCain, and that staying away from the polls would be a huge mistake?

Well, whether we agreed with them or not at the time, they proved themselves right, IMO. I was one of those who seriously considered staying home on election day; instead I opted to vote and my only reasonable choice was McCain.

If all conservatives had voted for him, despite their disgust with the Republican Party, could he have won over Obama? I'd take McCain any day over the "White House Mistake" we now endure.
