Michael Moore: I can understand why Republicans and some of the people on the right, lol, are like, 'What are you doing setting a deadline?'. It's like CRAZY. If they're truly the enemy, you don't say, 'Okay, we're going to fight you until 2:00 on ummm (looks at watch), on July 2, 2011. I mean it's like, if they are the enemy, you fight them until they're done. Until you win, and they lose. And that's not what he said. He just provided more fodder for his opponents by giving a deadline.

It’s more like Michael Moore is upset that Obama is sending more troops.
But on a side note, he mocks Obama for setting a deadline based on Obama’s argument. He’s mocking Obama’s reasoning for sending more troops. Basically saying, Obama’s case is that we are pursuing the enemy. Moore says, if that’s his case, he’s crazy for setting a deadline. Why would you tell your so called enemy when you are going to stop fighting. If they’re truly the enemy, you fight to win. End of story.

He wrote an article yesterday. It was posted on FR. I agreed with him that we need to bring our troops home, but for different reasons that Moore’s.
I’m convinced that this war, along with everything else, is about Obama. This guy will blame everyone for his failure. Our troops are doomed there.

Moore’s last movie cratered at the box office. Maybe he’s smelling obama’s collapse in the wind and thinking about making a movie that appeals to a much larger audience: conservatives. I would love to see Moore do a take-down movie on Obama.

I mean could you imagine FDR in WWII going on the radio and announcing that we are sending a million men to land in Normandy within the next few months, and saying that the deadline for launching the invasion is June.
