Jews Occupy Front-Row Pew In Church Of Liberalism

Among life’s most perplexing mysteries:

• Why do most Americans continue to believe Islam is the “religion of peace” – a growing international death-toll notwithstanding?

• Why do the French eat snails and think Jerry Lewis is funny?

• Why are women surprised that many of the men they have sex with have absolutely no interest in marrying them?

• Why are the Jews so compulsively/tragically liberal?

My friend Ira, a Hasidic Jew who lives in the Boston-area, once told me if he goes to vote and sees two candidates for an office, and he knows nothing about them other than that one has a Jewish name and the other doesn’t, he automatically votes for the non-Jew. He assumes, quite logically, that the gentile is less likely to be mushugana (just plain nuts) than the Jew.

President Obama – the clearest evidence yet that most Jews are delusional on matters political – just appointed Hannah Rosenthal the State Department’s special envoy to monitor and combat anti-Semitism. Apparently, Pat Buchanan was unavailable. Coming soon: Obama appoints “Da Vinci Code” author Dan Brown U.S. ambassador to the Vatican.

Secularism and liberalism go hand in hand.

Blacks are the most religious race of all and look how they vote

I absolutely agree!

Harry Reid is supposedly a very active and observant Mormon.

Geeze! Go figure! There are ( what was that expression?)... “mushugana” in **all** religions.

I am a Jew and I battle it out with my relatives at most occasions. From guns to Obama I went at it in 2008. Now I just ridicule them over what an obvious-to-all anti-Semite Hussein is. (My cousins who didn't vote for zerO have to come to me in private because there is such a stigma among Jews to not be a commmie lib.)

My wife and I recently allied with black and Hispanic parents at our kids school to force the white progressives in the Admin to permit Christmas songs at the upcoming "Winter Festival", which had been banned for 5 years prior to our enrollment there. We threatened to sing them anyway or protest outisde and they absolutely freaked out. I know religious Christians are the best friends of Israel.

There are dozens of conservative Jewish bloggers and talk show hosts, growing every day. Observant Jews are far more conservative than non-observant JINOs, and have far more babies. The future of Jews is conservative. Bet on it. It will take 25+ years, but then again, we've been around a long time.

Yes, I think location has more influence than many think and in more ways too. I remember once, maybe in the early 70’s when there was a Black girl running for homecoming queen at the University of Alabama.

The news media were making a big deal out of whether it would be a Black or White girl. The students fooled them all. They selected a Japanese girl from Dothan, Alabama. My wife used to work with her and she had a strong Southern accent. It really is strange to see a pretty Japanese girl speaking with a strong Southern drawl. As you might guess, her family had been in the area a long time.

There seems to be a lot of discussion about Liberal Jews and no mention of what has happened within the Catholic Church or other religions as well.

Not even close, Catholics went 54% for Obama while Jews were at 78% and in some years Catholics actually go for the Republican, Jews never do.

Jewish vote:
In 2004 Kerry 76%
In 2000 Gore 79%
In 1996 Clinton 78%
In 1992 Clinton 80%

The Torah of Sinai is the Fountainhead of Western Civilization and all that is good in this world. Christianity, like an ungrateful son, took it’s inheritance from Israel with all of it’s richness and power and went into spiritual exile. It built Western Civilization with the Biblical vision but could not replenish itself, and slowly lost it’s confidence. Revivals and Reformations were an attempt to get back to the source and bring new life to Christendom. By having accepted the proposition that Israel and Torah had been superceeded, the path to reconciliation was blocked. Christianity consequently declined and failed in it’s mission. Having compromised the immutable laws of God, it has lost it’s way and has run out of spiritual capital; the checks are bouncing. Liberal Jews are actually Christianized (Hellenized) Jews who have lost confidence in the efficacy and veracity of the Torah. They stand with Rome. There is hope, but that would be very difficult for Jew and Christian to accept. That would be the realization that Yeshua (Jesus) never intended to negate the Torah, but to spread it’s light to the whole world. He was misunderstood. His vision was ahead of his time...that time is now. Listen Christian, Listen Jew...Come home to Torah.

No one can explain black voting but secularism and liberalism do go hand in hand, even among republicans.

Except that even in New York it is the Jews that are the rabidly liberal, not all of the people.

Check out rjchq.org so you can see there are conservative Jews fighting to educate the Liberal ones.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I grew up in Philadelphia and earned a doctorate in one of the most competitive health professions. The school was overwhelmingly Jewish. I can honestly say that nearly all of my friends were Jewish. While I lived and worked in the Philadelphia area almost all of my close professional associations were with Jews. This is my conclusion ( as a gentile) regarding liberal Jews:

—The parents of my graduate school classmates suffered cruel and bitterly disappointing discrimination in business, professional organizations, fraternities, country clubs ( where business deals are often made), and admission to competitive colleges and professional schools. This was **still** a very recent experience for them and their parents **still** were dealing with the consequences of this discrimination. They correctly identified the discriminators are being Christians.

—There were hundreds of ways in which Christianity was shoved up their noses and it started the moment they entered kindergarten. Jewish holidays were **never** acknowledged. There were the Christmas decoration, carols, and Christian religious music sung in the class and chorus, and ( of course) the yearly Easter Bunny. The literature chosen for study reflected Christian themes, and many of the Jewish students had attended government schools where the King James Bible was read daily and the Lord's Prayer recited.

— While I was growing up, Philadelphia still had “blue laws” that required the mandatory closing of all businesses on Sunday, the **Christian** Sabbath. Wow! How's that for a weekly reminder of who is running the show in town.

— Constant reminders of Christian domination continued even in professional school in the mid-1970s. The school was empty during the Jewish holidays but the schedule marched on without them. A few kind gentile professors would repeat the lectures for the Jewish students but most would not. ( And...Remember, in the 1970s most of the professors were gentile since this generation of professors reflected previous discrimination against Jews.) The professional school being under the direction of the Christian dominated state legislature was closed for the major Christian holidays, though.

—Then while many active Christians support Israel they do it for what is perceived by my Jewish friends for a very weird reason: The Second Coming! Naturally, my Jewish friends wonder about Christian commitment to them as real people. They have good reason to believe that the Christian's real commitment to Israel is as a tarmac for Jesus’s landing.

—The Holocaust was **still** a very personal event for my classmates. Nearly every one of my Jewish classmates could name very close relatives exterminated in countries that were supposedly officially Christian. Christians killing ( or neglecting to defend Jews) wasn't seen as a “family value”.

So...That is why many of my friends were very hesitant to trust Christians or Christianity. Seriously,...Can you blame them?

I am a committed Christian and our entire family ( my children are now adults with families of their own) are very active in our denomination.

I forgot the conclusion:

So...Conservatives tend to be Christian and my Jewish friends and associates are very wary of Christians ( for good reasons, in my opinion.) It for this reason they tend to gravitate to those who are secular. Secular people are more likely to be liberals.

Don Feder is an excellent Jewish conservative writer, but his comparison of liberalism to religion can be made just as well with conservatism. After all, conservatives also have our saints, sinners, sacred texts, and rituals.

Judaism and conservatism should share the basic common value of freedom. That's what both Passover and the Fourth of July are all about.

Sounds like you pretty much despise the pre 1970s America and it’s Christian culture and traditions.

You got your way when the left used the federal government to crush our culture and destroy or communities.

There is a simple explanation. I have racked my brain thinking of all the different nuances of voting patterns and religious faith. I always come back to a simple conclusion. View the "liberal" choices as actually a worship of false gods. Modernity, socialism and whatever ism become alters of worship, false security and false pride. Those who can see past these blinders and recognize the thin veneer of civilization can easily reject the idols that have become the modern day liberal worship.

Those that cannot or will not look past these distractions are very incomplete and insecure. Challenge their beliefs and cognitive dissonance is their response. Usually this response is disproportionate to the argument offered up. Their responses are emotional and bankrupt. They fear the unravelling of their self-centered universe.

Some of what you say has a bit of truth to it, such as not being able to join certain clubs, tho I would never want to join one which didn’t want me.

Some of the other stuff such as not celebrating Jewish holidays is nonsense. I am sure Israel does not celebrate Christian ones.

There is also another side. I used to work with a U.S. Treasury agent. He was a fine man and extremely intelligent. He once told me the best neighbor he ever had was in Atlanta and the guy was Jewish.

He got a promotion and moved to New York. He bought a house in a neighborhood which was mostly Jewish. He said they were the rudest people in the world. Also made it plain they did not care for him because he was Christian.

In other words they mistreated non Jews much worse than Christians do non Christians.

Perhaps it is time to take the beam out of you eye. It might help you see more clearly from the Jews’ point of view.

I am merely attempting to outline as plainly as possible the daily frustrations that my Jewish friends and acquaintances shared with me. After being treated they way they were by Christians ( who tend to be conservative) is it any wonder that Jews are both suspicious of Christians and conservatism?

Then crush American culture, community, history, and traditions for a teensy minority, luckily for you we have two generations worth of that destruction finished just in time to accommodate the teensy Muslim numbers also.
