This is an excellent book on this whole subject by Lt. Col. Christopher Hatley. I heard him speak at our local tea party meeting. Great stuff.

Product Description
This book is different than many on the market because it outlines solutions for many policies that are allowing our enemies to exploit our nation because we are not securing our border with Mexico. This product defines the threats coming to America since our southern border is not protected. There are enormous costs to American taxpayers resulting from the government’s inaction on this problem. The author takes the reader through the military’s war planning steps, called the military decision-making process, so the reader can see the analysis that leads to the author’s conclusions and recommendations. These recommendations are then formulated into a detailed, comprehensive plan of action for the United States to implement. If the U.S. implements the plan, the problems on America’s southern border with Mexico would end permanently.

About the Author
Lt.Col. (U.S. Army, ret.) Christopher Hatley is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, the Command and General Staff College and the Air Warfare Center. A twenty-seven-year veteran of the United States Army, he taught military decision-making processes to officers and enlisted personnel at the Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, the Field Artillery School at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, and the Air Warfare Center at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. A former candidate for office in the Texas State House of Representatives, Lt.Col. Hatley is an advocate for border policy reform and conservative politics and plans to run for office again. He currently resides in Fort Worth, Texas.

Holy Carp!!! That is scary, I would do the same if i were in your shoes.

Sounds like the next Airline hijacking will not need box cutters, just a bunch more jihadists so they have 10% or more of a plane occupied.

You seem to forget, dear Janet, that you have declared that there IS no "War on Terror" and that the real threat to this country is the patriotic American, who is pro-life, pro-Constitution, pro-morality, pro-American exceptionalism.

Remember?? You declared war on us!

TPTB want a North American Union and they will get it, incrementaly. Therefore, the borders will remain open whether we like it or not.

Most likely in a State that does not allow concealed carry.

I doubt if any al Qaeda lovers/sympathizers were vetted out of the 0b0z0 inner circles before they started to ruin America as his inner circle jerks.

“Addressing the America-Israel Friendship League in New York, Napolitano said a string of recent domestic arrests should “remove any remaining comfort that some might have had from the notion that if we fight the terrorists abroad, we won’t have to fight them here,” rebutting an argument advanced on several occasions by President George W. Bush.”

Absolutely one of the stupidiest statements made by a bi-level hair cut, govt official since Janet Reno.

Where in God’s name does she think they are coming from?

Oh wait a second,...she states it in previous sentence.... “warned that extremists have been “sent here from the border region of Afghanistan and Pakistan to commit more acts of terror.”

it is unbelievable at the level of excrutiating incompetence Obama has surrounded himself with.

No one’s at the wheel,..or its on cruise control in the bar ditch.

Thought you’d be interested in this book, also. My apologies if I’ve already brought the book to your attention. I think it deserves a lot of attention! His approach is a full scale military solution to the border problem, not simply a border fence and beefed up border security agents. This guy is great - he’s a constituional scholar and very conservative, besides being an expert on military solutions.

“Secretary Napolitano Announces New Study to Protect Against Chemical Attacks...

I have been worrying about this scenario for years. But the high point climactically speaking is the spring and summer months in areas that are subject to humidity. Areas of low humidity or with lots of sandy regions aren't really good subjects for a chemical attack anyway. But say, SOUTH FLORIDA (in caps because I live in Miami, FL) or Los Angeles or even New York and those muggy humid summers allow any chemical agent to raise it's levels of persistency. This is the length of time the agent will adhere to surfaces and remain lethal. Many of these agents absorb through the skin so it's not really necessary to inhale them to die.

In a real nerve agent attack, thousands could die and the first responders would die too, until they realized that the only way in is in full haz-mat suits. Even then DECON efforts would be limited to people and small vehicles. Have to wait for a really rainy day to DECON the buildings and that raises a whole new set of dangers in the water runoff. South Florida gets it's drinking water from the Everglades aquifer. A toxic chemical like VX Nerve Agent or GD Soman could contaminate that drinking water. All it would take is to have a state like Iran pressurize propane tanks like those used for barbeques around the world or in industrial grade fire extinguishers and get some Jihadi to open the pressure valves on those tanks on the roof of a tall downtown office building and take a deep breath. He's the first casualty and therefore unlikely to name his sponsors if he were to be captured.

In a town like Miami, with the gentle sea breezes in a steady and constant direction the effective downwind drift would encompass an ever widening swath that would spread far outside the initial target zone further complicating efforts to DECON and initiate life saving measures. It'd be a nightmare. I wrote all of this up and gave it to the Miami Dade County EOC after I published an article on the issue in a survival magazine in 1991 (my first paid gig as a writer). I'll bet they trashed it, too.

My God that is scary. Thank goodness you acted and the Texan backed you up.

For a couple of years after 9/11, some our younger, buffed and in good shape male relatives and friends were often asked to sit in aisle seats by the flight attendants.

A couple of weeks ago this started happening again on some flights. A friend flew home the Wed before Thanksgiving. He is 6’ 5’ and a solid 250#’s. He and other well built guys were asked to change their seats and take critical aisle seats for the flight.

President Obama said that Al Qaeda has an extremist ideology.

I’d like him to tell me in brief just WHAT that ideology is seeing as how he refuses to say anything bad about anyone who claims to be a muslim.

Heck, I’d even settle for him to define “Marxism” since he says his policies are NOT Marxist.
