Sadly, she won’t be able to forget it because the family will forever be talking about it. Some (especially since there are two families and being half siblings) may even turn it around one day and blame her somehow for grandpa being in prison and brother being dead.
You people are missing the obvious. That poor teenager was probably molested by this monster and if he sent the kid to jail, this would be revealed. He was covering his own a**. This guy is a monster to shoot his own son and there is only one reason for it. Are you kidding me, read between the lines, he he caused this kid to do this and his goal was to silence him. Kids/teens do not think of molesting toddlers out of the blue; something prompted him.... and HELLO...it wasn’t playing Nintendo. The teen could have been helped through therapy. It is the father who should be put down like the animal that he is. We will never hear the details of what he did to his son because he silenced his victim forever. The best we can hope for is and for the truth to come out and for him to be known in prison as a child molester. Death penalty would be appropriate, but even that would be too good for that animal.
This is a really messed up situation, but c’mon put the blame where it belongs people. Hopefully the mom will step up for once and do what she should have done for her murdered teenage son...PROTECT HER CHILDREN. Believe me, she knows that monster did to her son and probably to the daughter too. She needs to get out of this Hedda Nusbaum mentality and step up for her kids.
