“Individuals sympathetic to al-Qaida and its affiliates, as well as those inspired by their ideology, are present in the U.S., and would like to attack the homeland or plot overseas attacks against our interests abroad.”

They are but I didn't vote for them and I wish the president would stop giving them posts in the government.

What would these people do if they actually had to think or earn a living off the govt tit?

Didn’t she say our borders were secure enough?

Napolitano says US border more secure

Napolitano is the first homeland security secretary to drop the term "terror" and "vulnerability" from remarks prepared for delivery to the House Homeland Security Committee, according to a copy obtained by The Associated Press.

....Didn't she also tell us not to use the word "terrorism" anymore?....

Napolitano avoids using word 'Terrorism'

The Obama administration has met many of the border security benchmarks Congress set in 2007 as a prerequisite to immigration reform and now it's time to change the law, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said Friday.

Other than Mexicans

Snip: "I've been saying for a long time that in your next Sept. 11 hit, you're gonna find out how many of them came across this border right here," says Gary McBride, a rancher who lives 35 miles north of Douglas. "I feel like I'm living in a big ol' train station, and here comes one train, and here comes another, and here comes another, and they just never stop, people from every country you could name. Nothing has changed since Sept. 11. If anything, it's worse. It's a goddamn three-ring circus down here."

For Ben Anderson, finding prayer rugs and other such items means nothing.

"The illegals with prayer rugs pay $1,500-$2,000 to get across," he says. "These aren't the terrorists. The terrorists, al-Qaeda and others, pay between $30,000 and $50,000, and you'll never know they were here. It's very hard to catch someone of that caliber.

"Your first hint will be some big explosion, then the lights will go on in people's heads. Aha, they came up through here. Cochise country is the Arab-terrorist corridor."

Anderson spent 30 years in the Army, retiring as a colonel. In Vietnam, he commanded two rifle companies with the American division, winning numerous medals, including two purple hearts and two silver stars. He has three master's degrees, has worked in Egypt and at the Pentagon, and has taught at West Point. Anderson publishes an online political newsletter called the Anderson Report. He bases his certainty that al-Qaeda is infiltrating Arizona on anonymous sources in Washington and elsewhere around the world.

"It's nothing we can lay out in black and white for several reasons," Anderson says. "It's very hard to document, because the sources don't want to lose their jobs. And they will. But it's been going on a long time. Tucson is a staging area, and people have been trying to make believe it isn't happening. Nobody is going to give you confirmation. The U.S. government sure won't. But I know it's happening."

Janet plans amnesty along with Nancy and Barack. Here's some help adjusting to cartel language (another form of terrorism IMHO):

Grim glossary of the narco world

Snips:

Encajuelado: Based on the word for "trunk," a body dumped in the trunk of a car.

Narcomensaje: A scrawled drug message, often rambling or peppered with misspellings.

Plaza: Not the quaint public square you see in nearly every Mexican town, but rather any defined drug marketplace, such as a smuggling point.

Tiendita: Any place where drugs are sold in small quantities on the street -- a house, apartment building or even a little store.

Halcones: To guard strongholds, trafficking groups rely on a network of street-level informants

Cuerno de chivo: "Goat horn," nickname for the AK-47 assault rifle, a favorite of cartel gunmen.

Alone, narco can refer to a trafficker or the entire illegal drug trade

Narco-policias are cops on the take.

Narcojuniors, the well-heeled children of traffickers accused of helping run the criminal enterprises.

Would it be racist to notice that, ever since O’loser was voted in, we now have Al Queda in the country. Didn’t have them when W was in office.
Why don’t they just check O’losers cell phone records, they’d probably get some good leads on where they are hanging out.

Napolitano said a series of recent arrests in the U.S. should “remove any remaining comfort that some might have had from the notion that if we fight the terrorists abroad, we won’t have to fight them here.”

Napolitano's turnaround on calling terrorists "terrorists", combined with this highly-charged, highly-politicized rhetoric from a national security official who ought to know better (and ought to be focused on keeping the country safe instead of on bashing the prior administration), leads me to the unavoidable conclusion that they have suddenly realized that their confused "be kind to terrorists and their sponsors and maybe they'll leave us alone" policies have already failed.

It appears that they are desperately laying the groundwork so that they can blame Bush when, not if, America suffers a massive attack during their watch...

Clearly they know that the unmistakable message when that happens (and I sincerely hope that it doesn't) is that the Bush administration kept the country safe after 9/11, and the Obama administration blew it...

Oh yeah, the jihadis are scared now. “Brothers, the infidel b!tch is on to us! We must flee, hurry or she will smite us all!’’. Honest to God I think if you looked in one of this womans ears you’d seed daylight out the other side.

“And like extremism abroad, it is now part of the threat picture that we must confront.”

I like this Fed Speak - “threat pictures”.

Sounds like we know they’re here, and therefore probably who and where they and their supporteres are as well, which means they could be easily rounded up. The “threat picture” I’d like to see, therefore, is a few dozen of these yahoos hung in the wind by our government from overpasses near Dearborn. Heads on spikes in the winter snows on the nightly news and various Executive Branch web sites might provide adequate “threat pictures” as well.

Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano warned that al-Qaida followers are inside the U.S. and pose the threat of terrorist attacks on Americans.

It's a lie. It's not true. We have our armed forces and of our allies in Afghanistan, fighting the al-Qaeda to keep them there and have been doing so for the past eight years.

As a matter of fact, we and our allies will be sending an additional 40,000 troops to finally destroy the al-Qaeda and end their threat to our country. (/sc)

"...the threat picture that we must confront.”

Only a briefer would use this terminology.

so, actually, this phrase proves that Napolitano was awake when she was being briefed.

Sounds like Obama has issued the memo to his cabinet:

“HELP!!! My poll numbers are tanking. And the Nov. 2010 elections are
just around the corner. I know this will go against your own natures...
but you all have to start ACTING like Americans. Otherwise, we’re
gonna’ be crying like it’s 1994 all over again.”

As I drove past a gated school on Best Street, in Buffalo, NY, I was informed by my friend that it was a Islamic school that taught Wahhabism. My friend said that many Islamics have moved into the neighborhood and had taken over a small youth detention facility and turned it into a school. The owners were forced to remove the razor wire above the 12ft. fences. It sure made me feel uneasy knowing “young skulls full of mush” were being brain washed within the doors of that school.

" Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano warned that al-Qaida followers are inside the U.S. and pose the threat of terrorist attacks on Americans."

Don't give us the fake concern double talk Janet when you have been asleep at the wheel and letting al-Qaida into this country.
Instead making sure the REAL enemies of this country are focused on your there making a list checking it twice finding out who is naughty or nice and sending out your politically motivated agenda driven bogus list to law enforcement that average American patriots who are Christians, law abiding gun owners, and preachers who preach the Gospel, those who have the right to free speech who protest against the government as domestic terrorist...

Well, Napolitano, maybe you should check the White House guest lists next time there's a party, eh? Birds of a feather and all that.
