Desiree Rogers is under scrutiny for her office's role in the infamous security breakdown at the state dinner. A woman with a reputation as a consummate perfectionist is being criticized for dropping the ball — and, by some, for putting her own aggrandizement over her job.
The White House social secretary under fire for her office's role in the security breakdown that let an invited couple into a state dinner once joked that she regularly allowed party crashers at White House events.
Desiree Rogers made the claim in an interview with the trade magazine BizBash at the Creative Coalition's annual meeting in June -- months before two reality-TV wannabes crashed Obama's party last week for the Indian prime minister.
"Lots of people just come anyways," she said, joking that she had added extra tables and benches at every event to accommodate people who just show up. "They won't take no for an answer. Finally, I just said, 'All right, come on in. It's no use kicking you out.'"

Personally, she is an idiot for even thinking such and an even more IDIOT for voicing such to the extent that it is recorded and printed in a newspaper. She should be outright fired but before leaving the the White House compound, she should be made to publically apologize to each and every Secret Service person working the White House. She blundered, and despite what the Secret Service head man is saying, she is owns chief responsiblity, hence why the lametard Barry admninistration is protecting her dumbarse with “executive privilege,” typically reserved for someone with 10x the stature of her position.

These whack-job, self-important leftists didn’t “crash” anything. They were allowed in by someone who gave orders to Secret Service people. Now it’s CYA time and the SS is being blamed.
C’mon! I don’t see what all the fuss is about. The gate-crashers were clean, articulate. I’m really impressed by those three.
I think conservatives everywhere should be taking the lead on this, demanding that security procedures be tightened and followed and that anyone that had a hand in this should be fired. The safety of the President and his family comes first and we should be demanding it.
After all, it would be blamed on conservatives if something happened to him. Regardless that 99.9 of conservatives believe in the rule of law and have never used violence to further their agenda. It would probably be a muslim extremist or a leftist who believes that ends justify the means.
Does this mean Miss Nancy no longer needs a special plane because she’s 3rd in line? I mean if anyone can crash the WH and the President, VP, Speaker, Secretary of State, SECRETary of Treasury are ALL there...

Bingo! This is reminiscent of how Lewinsky was “handled” in some of her WH comings and goings. It’s clear from this news account there was an on-going “pattern and practice” else all the previous crashers being joked about could never have gotten in. While their getting fired over this was unfortunate, the SS staff who opted to let these latest crashers in actually took the least risky course of action: taking a CHANCE on getting fired vs. getting fired for certain.
Ah yes, just ask Mr Walpin what happens when one doesn’t kow tow to the Obama friends.

Rogers is a successful businesswoman, who jumpstarted the Illinois lottery by running it like a business.
During her tenure as president of Peoples Gas, the company was accused of conspiring with Enron Corp. to overcharge customers. Peoples agreed to a $100-million refund for customers without admitting any wrongdoing. Rogers also dealt with federal and state investigations into Peoples’ testing procedures for pipe corrosion.(9) Despite those challenges, she was able to secure a $71 million rate hike for the gas company and included a provision that guaranteed the company received the increase even if gas usage fell short of projections.(4)
Rogers served on a variety of boards and as part of several community groups in Chicago. She was vice-chair of the Lincoln Park Zoo and was on the board of the Museum of Science and Industry.(10) She also served on the board of Northwestern Memorial Foundation and Polk Bros. Foundation, as well as the corporate boards of Equity Residential and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois.(11)

If the Obama White House is knowingly this lax about security, than the safety of the President is irrelavant.
To be this lax with foreign dignitaries present, raises this to an international level. Once again, the rest of the world is watching, and they are not amused.

Rogers helped raise money and plan for the inauguration. His priority was to make events open, like never before, to people from all walks of life. He worked especially hard to make sure older, pioneering civil rights activists attended, despite the shortage of tickets.

Send to your lists. This woman BRAGS about letting in crashers and the Secret Service takes the fall? I want this woman gone in time for the Monday news shows, with a full public apology by Obama to the sacrifical Secret Service agents. Has 0bama allowed FBI or Secret Service security checks of his czars and their guests and his every day spurious visitors?

Either they never got an invitation at all as they have implied to the contrary, or they have been threatened by Obama's thugees to remain silent.......or, they are holding out for a huge chunk of change to sell their story.
