That is such a common tendency for people today to engage in. There is the CONSTANT applying of today's standards of thinking and morals to people in different cultures and from different times and then condemning them for not thinking like we do. Some of the views held by those were taught as fact. Not that excuses people like her. It's not hard to realize that abortion is murder, especially in a culture where the baby was presumed to be alive from conception instead of the mental gymnastics people go through these days to state that it's not in order to justify abortion. Interestingly, the most anti-racist thinking would be found in and supported by Scripture where it says,......Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
And....Colossians 3:11 Here there is no Greek or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all.
Totally revolutionary thinking for those days.
