OK, let’s get this straight. George Bush was not a conservative. He did some conservative things, but he was not a conservative.
And no one needs to defend President Bush. He was a far better President than would have been Al Gore or John Kerry. Far, far better.
Still, we’d have been, and would be, better off if we really had a conservative President. Say, President Palin.
It’s what they do. It resonates with their core consituency, typified by the guy who tried to throw tomatos at Sarah Palin and hit a cop instead.
Look at that guy. He blames Bush so why shouldn’t Obama, Reid, Pelosi and the rest of them keep blaming Bush?
Exactly. They blamed Herbert Hoover for years, even though it was FDR's policies that turned a recession into a depression.
