As the deceit of the limo-jet-caviar congestion of Copenhagen grinds that city into the forefront of an international tragedy, there will be no mention of humanity’s biggest challenge. Political correctness amongst the 15,000 attendees and the attendant fawning media will ignore the irony of this self-serving and bloated spectacle. They will be excused their extravagance and their obscene carbon footprint, culminated with the arrival of President Obama on Air Force One, and his unsparing entourage. Political correctness and economic forces will prevent discussion on the root cause of stress on the earth’s oceans, air, forests, rivers, and lakes. No one in Copenhagen will breathe a word about the world’s population.

The Copenhagen conference is a United Nations gambit using fear of global warming as the apocalyptic Armageddon that will squeeze hundreds of billions of dollars from the United States and Canada, and will redistribute the cash as it sees fit. Copenhagen is not a conference intended to clean up our environment.

Obviously all third world countries run by dictators, as well as the very few who aren’t, will clamor for consensus. Why wouldn’t they? More cash means more Bentleys and Escalades, another mansion or two, as well as a shipload of arms to maintain power. When you don’t care about your own people, but strive to retain absolute power over them with brute force, the least of your concerns is a distraction from foreign fanatics with a cause, but if it’s going to fill your coffers, . . . bring it on. Countries such as China and Russia with a wink and a nod will continue on course, unrattled or swayed by anything the international community has to say, yet surprisingly, they are the only two who’s populations are shrinking.

All this talk about the rising oceans and right there in Copenhagen, Denmark. The country who has for years pushed back the sea to gain more and more land for itself.

Where do you suppose all that water went? Ummm maybe when you push back the sea to gain all that extra land you raised the sea levels everywhere else just a tad. Hello? What dummy can’t figure that one out?

And then when Dubai makes man made islands in the ocean what to you suppose that would do to the level of the sea? Raise it just a tad more maybe?

But no one’s talking about all of that. They just want to blame the raising level on their made up Global Warming fraud to bilk us for billions of dollars.

I wish a little localised global warming would occur right there at Copenhagen and drown the whole lot of them. Political leadership almost the whole world over has become a tyranny. I can't believe that here in the US we're about to be subjected to taxes and regulations and fines and penalties on top of all those we're already burdened with, all for the political "elites" to impose more control over our lives while exempting themselves, or even enriching themselves after subjecting us to more imposition. They spit in our faces while we oppose them, all our calling and emailing and demonstrations don't achieve the goal of stopping them or even slowing them down. This is our elected "representation" ? How in the world do we make them understand they are not our rulers? They don't even appear to be worried by the threat of being voted out, do they think they can count on ACORN and other corruption so much? I'm sick of them all, they deserve to have the fear of the electorate they're supposed to represent put back into them, but how?
