Sen. Kerry Will Travel to Copenhagen Global Warming Summit by Commercial Airliner Thursday, December 10, 2009 By Penny Starr, Senior Staff Writer

(CNSNews.com) – Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.) will travel to the United Nations global warming conference in Copenhagen, Denmark on a commercial airliner, a senior Kerry aide told CNSNews.com.

“The senator expects to travel commercially as he has to past climate conferences,” the aide said, adding that the details of Kerry’s travel arrangement were contingent opon the Senate’s schedule.

Published reports have indicated that many public officials have been arriving at the Copenhagen in private jets, meaning they are emitting more carbon into the atmosphere than they would if they travelled on commercial airliners. Manmade carbon emissions, global warming theorists believe, cause global temperatures to rise.

Kerry will join a large U.S. contingency at the United Nations Climate Change Conference, including President Barack Obama and several members of his cabinet: Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar, Commerce Secretary Gary Locke, Energy Secretary Steven Chu and Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack.

At least 15,000 delegates, 5,000 journalists, and 98 world leaders are expected to be attending the conference, which started Dec. 7 and ends on Dec. 18. The Telegraph reported that more than 1,200 limousines and 140 private planes are being utilized by the attendees.

If you were on that plane, would you tell the attendants that someone “suspicious” was aboard?

Now that boys and girls is one HUGH 'carbon footprint' these gasbags will be imposing on the tiny little country of Denmark.

Bill Kristol on FNS said it is roughly equivalent to that of the country of Morocco.

That was prolly before he knew Sen Kerry, who served in Vietnam, was going. Horse face will add three tons of CO2 by himself.

btw, I really really really like this global warming stuff.
It's now 1oF with a wind chill of -21oF by my house.
Previous low record for today was 22oF

We peons feel so honored to have the royalty breathe the same aircraft air as us. His presence will lift spirits throughout the commercial airliner and bring joy to the passenger’s faces. Praise the Lord Sen. Kerry deigns to sit with the hoi polloi.

No it didn't.
But those 5,000 journalist's aren't being paid by any country's taxpayers so they can sit there and play Tiddlywinks for all I care.

But those 15,000 'delegates' aren't going, staying and eating, etc. on their own dime. Somehow, someway(1), we and every taxpayer in the world are footing their bills.

(1) Direct funding or gubmint grants if not employed by some country's gubmint.

Since it has now been proven that global warming is a hoax, who cares how sKerry gets to this fake conference?

Why is the media bothering to further perpetrate this fraud?

They just write what the "powers" tell them to write. What, you expected investigative journalism?
