The Land of Lincoln may still be licking its wounds–and certain real estate transactions–over Chicago’s losing the Olympics to Rio, but the Obama Administration has delivered up a small consolation prize: the state’s very own federal prison for terrorists. Big Government has received what is claimed to be a leaked DOJ memo that was allegedly sent yesterday from Eric Holder’s Department of Justice to Defense Secretary Robert Gates. Memo below:

You are far too kind when speaking of Durbin.
The south side of Chicago would be very hard to escape through. You'd be on some gang's turf for miles.
Unfortunately they are not being moved to Chi-town, but rather to Thomson, Illinois, which is over on the Iowa border, along the Mississippi, about half way between Rock Island and Dubuque.
IOW, they put it in fly over country.
'Course that might not be too safe for escaped terrorists either, although Illinois and nearby Wisconsin are the only two states without some form of CHL/CCW law. Concealed carry is not permit ed in those two states. Long guns however... :)

Send them one by one for incarceration in Cook Co jail, and there won’t be any need for trials.
My guess is it was an easier sell than Michigan since he may not lose IL in 2012', my guess he is loosing steam in MI, OH and IN big time and can't afford to piss them off anymore...
You are absolutely correct. We'll be able to count on the vast majority of the military as well...
And that's why the left will now begin to back off. They are becoming increasingly aware revolt is brewing. It's not yet boiling over but they know it's close. It's, IMHO, part of reason Obama has decided to give the Pentagon much of what they ask for and why we hear so little about the criminality of the CIA.
If/When Obama is removed from office and a new US is established, such action will be led by Governors, Senators, Military, Intelligence and LEO at all levels. And, we'll see it coming for months.

Thomson, IL., is populated by about 550 people, and the county seat of Mt. Carroll, IL., is less than 2,000 people, with an overall county population of less than 17,000 people.
