Record Cold To hit Global Warming Conference (Copenhagen To Break Dec 17th Record by 7 Degrees!)
Observations of Weather underground reporting ^ | 12-13-09

Posted on 12/13/2009 2:22:27 PM PST by icwhatudo

Once again its bad timing for a global warming meeting as all time record cold temperatures are set to strike the the U.N. global warming conference in Copenhagen.

Last week "warmists" were confronted with reports that November Arctic Sea Ice growth exceeded the 1979-2000 average and that "in general, the ice edge is now at or slightly beyond its average location".

The bad timing for "warmists" this time is that Copenhagen, home to the UN global warming conference until December 18th, is set to break the all time low temperature record for December 17th.

Here is a screengrab of Copenhagen weather from Weather Underground for Dec 17th 2008 that shows the all time cold record for that date (24 degrees) was set on Dec 17th 1997:

As can be seen from this screen grab from Weather Underground, forecasters are predicting this record will be shattered by 7 degrees as temperatures dip down to a record low of 17 degrees on Thursday December 17th:

Last week I started to mention that it would be interesting if a sudden super cold snap disrupted their conference, perhaps accompanied with heavy snow and blizzard conditions, zero's plane turned back from landing due to treacherous landing conditions. Perhaps a week or so of lock in would shake the AGW clowns a bit. Make them less cocky.
Old country: And perhaps give a few tens of thousands of people the will to descend upon them with pitch forks and lit torches. Could be the start of something good.

Even worse though is being anti-co2 is NOT green, not at all, plants need co2 and a warmer world means far more plant life. People who are truly green should be advocating increased co2 emissions, not calling for less.
The anti global warming movement should be called the brown movement.

WARMERFUL COPENHAGEN
Tune: "Wonderful Copenhagen"

Warmerful, warmerful Copenhagen
Climate gatekeepers in town
We will say it's hot
Even when it's not
We will pass the gas around

In warmerful, warmerful Copenhagen
Putting the foolish in fuel
Now I'm turning green
Getting sick, I mean
Singing Copenhagen
Warmerful, warmerful
Copenhagen is cool!

I flew on my private jet
To pay off my climate debt
Meeting Algore for cocktails today
And there he stands, waiting for me
With a welcome so warm if I pay

Warmerful, warmerful Copenhagen . . .

Warmerful, warmerful Copenhagen
Climate gatekeepers in town
We will say it's hot
Even when it's not
We will pass the gas around

In warmerful, warmerful Copenhagen
Putting the foolish in fuel
Now I'm turning green
Getting sick, I mean
Singing Copenhagen
Warmerful, warmerful
Copenhagen is cool!

Maybe a few of the world’s political leaders will die from exposure. Hell, howabout 90% of them?

With all the hot air in Copenhagen their going to break the record low by 7 degrees. Let’s hope Copenhagen breaks the record lows all week long and has a lot of snow, that would be cool.

The Communists don't call it "Global Warming" anymore, but "Climate Change."

That way, it is "Heads I Win, Tails You Lose."

These are all pictures from the Copenhagen Scam Conference:

God is just having fun tweaking Algore ;-)

Weather Underground saw your post. They’ve revised the forecast temps upward.

You guys are so gullible. I live in Copenhagen, and the forecast for the coming week is completely and utterly normal.

On the other hand, we’ve just had one of the warmest Novembers on record.

I suggest you get your info from the Danish Meteorological Institute, not from wacky Internet sites and astrologers:

Current revised forecast on wunderground is 24 F. Site you posted says about 23 F (-5 C). Record low is 24 F set in 1997. So it could easily tie or beat the record, but probably not by 7 degrees. FWIW.

Thanks for the link Billy, using your site we see the forecast for Thursday is now:

"Thursday
Sunny spells. Maximum day temperatures around minus 2 degrees Celsius, minimum night temperatures around minus 5 degrees Celsius. Up to strong wind."

That converts to a predicted high of 28.4 ºF and a predicted low of 23 ºF.

The average high for that date in December is 39ºF and the average low is 32ºF.

You want us to believe that 9-10 degrees below average is "normal" weather for you? That would be "gullible"

Wow, I almost missed Fridays weather from YOUR trusted website
A low of -6 ºC = 21.2 ºF.

But 11 degrees below normal is just...normal right? LOL

Um, just curious - so the fact that neither the Fahrenheit or Celsius scales were around when the bible was written mean what? That it is a meaningless concidence, or that God had the temperature scale prepared just for this day?

Thanks for the ping. Had seen the title of the thread y-day and LOL’d... But didn’t have a chance to pop in on it. Loved the info and irony in #15. Can only hope climategate shoots a big hole in cap’n tax. (We need a Cap’n Tax graphic, possibly loosely based on Cap’n Crunch, perhaps).

Hope you also saw the ping re: health care “no lifetime limits, but they will allow annual limits” crap. I sometimes think the purpose of congress is to simply screw up everything.
