Dems Cancel Copenhagen Trip

Socializing another huge chunk of the U.S. economy is more important than saving the planet:

Senator John Kerry, Democrat of Massachusetts and chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee, told colleagues on Saturday that Democrats could not send a delegation to the United Nations climate change conference in Copenhagen.

“It doesn’t look like we’re going -– not as a delegation,” Mr. Kerry told colleagues as a he left the Senate chamber after a vote on a package of spending measures. “Harry needs the people here on health care.”

Harry is the Senate majority leader, Harry Reid of Nevada, and to say that Mr. Reid needs his caucus members in Washington for the health care debate is an understatement.

Several senators had hoped to attend the conference, including Barbara Boxer of California, the chairwoman of the Environment and Public Works Committee, and many members of her panel.

I'm sorry. I should have been a bit more clear. I mostly go from what our Swift Boat honorable hero's had to say over a period of time.
I was referring to when Hanoi John threw a hand grenade into a storage bin of rice, perhaps trying to be cute, then later as he received a shrapnel wound from it on the foot or leg ended up getting a purple heart. Please correct me if I am ill informed on that particular incident.

But of course you are right. Not only for what you mention to be true, but for all the really horrible things these type clowns on the left, driven by communists and socialists principles would have befallen on this Republic. Sadly. However. It is also people with no real ideology in particular that are driven by pure greed to become filthy rich at the expense of others. Those in some industries that move to the top, forget their humble origins, forget a strong free democratic, well governed United States is good for all. A place where honest free enterprise principles, self regulating with country first in mind, can allow for many to realize the long held hope many of us have labeled the American dream. Advance within the bounds of the laws, according to ones abilities and talents.
To many would suck the life out of this approaching divine principle where so many have realized the blessing through hard work, and suck the cream off the top at the expense of all in this juncture in time. It is a sad state of affairs.
IMHO, it really has been going on for a long time. To many in America as well as the rest of the free westernized nations have for to long been ill informed at those that control things at the top, money (banks for one, as well as huge industrial complexes), to the extent many in governments world wide have partook of the evil fruits of self enrichment through deals of all sorts at all levels.
Perhaps at least for a while. This newest scam, AGW shall be hog tied. We shall see in the next few years if things can be slightly improved on many fronts.

It does get very cold in Denmark - and a damp cold. Ladies do not wear legs with only nylons as they freeze to the skin.

However, according to my native Copenhagen friend, they don’t normally get much snow.

We have witness from his ship mates the clown almost blew himself up trying to be a cute ass, then received a purple heart, when he supposedly through a grenade into a pile of rice. And people who where on those river cruises witness to the fact the clown blew away a fleeing un-armed goon with the fifty mount located on his craft one time he approached the shore line when enemy where spotted. I was not there. I just believe what those from the swift boat group had to say about this clown. I believe each of them as being honorable navy officers and enlisted verse the clown that married a drunken multi-millionare to keep himself well stock for life.

That my friend is what I have been yapping about for the past week plus on a number of threads. I don't want to hear about the poor drunks and otherwise freezing to death.... but a full multiple week snow blizzard with extreme low temp drops might help to quench their socialistic/communistic/one world take over vigor. Let the bastards freeze their asses off, pardon my quite eloquent French.
Let the fools experience what the good folks of Canada and the upper United States experience every year and it gets worse, along with the Asian continent, and now the lower southern hemisphere. Snow the second week in summer in lower Australia. It this indicative of a accelerated global warming scenario. Hardly.
