his core is about 20%... Those are self described liberals.. some of those will go angry if he doesn’t go all in on radical liberal policies or percieved as backing down on them... Those will be about 1/2 of those 20%.

So I generally agree that his lowest number for strongly approve will be 10-12%

I had TWO family members from VA that voted for Obama. They now refuse to talk about him they are so disppointed.He lost their future votes. They were die-hards.

I would say over half of my extended family are democrats and voted for BamKennedy. NONE yet are willing to admit they were wrong about him, but it is not a subject I bring up, because these same people are the last ones to ever admit they are wrong about anything. They are just now coming down off the 'high' of hate everything George Bush.

I did have a bit of fun on Thanksgiving describing the man made hot earth scare being exposed.

I have a good friend, a retired Army Gunny with two tours in 'Nam, that voted for this clown because he was the first black to make it to the finals. When I told him that Obama was a communist, his answer was, "Those are just labels."

Now his only child who had joined the Marines as an IT something with the "promise" that he would not be deployed to Iraq or Afghanistan, is in the latter. Joe now knows that the same issues that we faced in Viet Nam are increasing the likelyhood that his son will have a rough deployment, thanks to our commie POTUS. Talk about poetic justice!

I am one who believes poll numbers are highly and easily manipulated.

Does anyone think that this huge drop may be a reaction to the recent snub from WH press secretary Gibbs who compared these negative polls to a toddler's crayon scribbles?

Just a thought.
