Well, although I would be voting for Palin, if and when she comes up for an election that I have a vote in -- I'm afraid she doesn't rise to the level of a person or idea who has influenced events the most for the last year.
Just with me and others believing that she's the best political person for the job (whatever that is... LOL...) doesn't mean that she's influenced the events of the past year the most of any person in the world... :-)
