It looks like a giant underwater circuit board. Probably part of the hydro-electronics that powers the Atlantean death crystal. If they turn it on, I think it will cause a black Edgar Cayce hole to pop out in one of the detectors at the Large Hadron Collider.

To my dear Freepers.....I am one who belives Casey’s Bimini projection.....and that eventually we will find this “lost continent of Atlantis”

It is clear that there are similarities all around the earth that would make much sense that they came from an original point, ie people who fled Atlantis when in different directions and thus the similarities....

What is even more interesting to me is if Atlantis itself was originally colonized by people not of this earth, with abilities and science way beyond what we have now....

It is just one theory, but it would explain much and close many open questions...

...visual artifacts from the compilation of sonar data. Bottom scanning sonar images are often compiled with satelite images to provide greater resolution and they can appear as this type of structured artifact. The parralel straight lines are where the boat went back and forth in a grid to scan the bottom and the vacant lots are just places missed. Brighter spots were scanned by more than one pass of a sonar as surveyors ran a seprate grid.

Isn’t everything “discovered” previously undiscovered?

Of course, but when the discoveries conflict with assumed facts or even (Lord forbid) religion then that’s when things start getting “exciting”.

“Same with the second - notice the clouds at the center top suddenly have this city in the clouds too.”

Those aren’t clouds, it’s light reflecting off the surface of the water.

“The team hopes to conduct a massive mapping and research expedition, to learn as much as possible about who these people were, before turning the site over to the Caribbean island’s home government. “Whatever we’ve found does not belong to us,” the project’s leader said, “It belongs to the people of this island, and to the world at-large. If any pieces are brought to the surface, they belong in the hands of a museum.”

He says it is near an island, so if we have any tech savy Freepers who can get images of the area in question then we can look and see.

Seems illogical to me that such a group would put out photoshopped photos in this day and age. They are not so stupid as to think they’d be undiscovered longer than a few hours.

Quix where have you been? Weekly world news is one such public source. News media photogs do it a lot - Iran's bizillion rockets launching for example. Part of it is they don't care if they are discovered by some - as long as it sells and there are enough without critical thinking skills to accept it at face value.

I’d think so.

Shoot, we probably have folks running various . . . viewing platforms as Freepers.

I’m aware there are lots of hoaxes.

Remember—I manage the UFO ping list!!! LOL.

However, this was obviously going to scientific folks used to giving everything fine toothed comb scrutiny.

Just not logical they’d think they could pull such a thing over on such scientists.

They are not that stupid.

You aren’t earning points as a wonderful psychologist here.

I explored this city 10 years ago Snorkling in Jamaica.

They had a pretty cool sushi bar there.

If they were placing their works in a peer reviewed scientific journal - they would be stupid to try. But they aren't, they panned it out to an obscure Weekly World Newsesque 'news' site.

You aren’t earning points as a wonderful psychologist here.

I'm a geologist, not a psycologist thank you :)

Time will tell.

I don’t think your geology studies are helping you read the people well at all on this one.

My purpose is not to 'read' people at all, but evaluate the alledged 'evidence' from my experience in airphoto analysis of features. Anytime anyone presents photos like these and startes saying 'secret' location, hidden, unidentified scientist, etc along with the obvious flaws in the photos themselve reaks of fraud. 'Jes calls 'em as I seez 'em.

1. The human element is part of the evidence.

2. I don’t think you have much appreciation for how greatly your biases effect perception.

The human bias didn't come into play until AFTER I evaluated the photos and the paper's news site. If you want to believe some mystical, magical city has been discovered, fine. When nothing more is heard from these 'experts', then remember you heard it here first :)
