To get anything done in Washington, you gotta sleep with all sorts of people youd rather not even shake hands with.
Really? Tell that to Sarah.

Why doesn't for Gov. of Arkansas Mike Huckabee lead a protest against Arkansas's own Blanche Lincoln? Her vote is just as important as Nelsons..isn't it?
Is Lincoln a good friend of Mikes and/or maybe there's just not enough TV drama generated with THAT particular protest march?

It does that if you just hit the back key once. If you hit it twice, and then click on “contact me,” you can compose and send another message. If you save your first message, you can cut and past the same one over and over if you want.

I think Huck is trying to muster support in a dyed-in-the-wool red state. Which is logical, since it is a friendly environment for him.
I think Ben Nelson is being judged awfully harshly. After all, folks, he is a DEMOCRAT. Did you really think he would side with the conservatives on this? You can't really fault him for aligning with his party on a critical vote. Don't blame Nelson; blame the champions of this corrosive socialism: Obama, Pelosi, and Reid. Larry, Curly, and NO MO!

I wonder if Huckabee’s book tour is taking him to Omaha?
I think the rally is a fine idea, but Blanche Lincoln is up for relection in Mike’s own state of Arkansas in 2010, whereas Ben Nelson is safe until 2012.

"And the BS you are putting out about "I suppose I could change my mind later on down the road" is a dead give a way."
I wasn't BS'ing anyone with the fact I might change my mind later on down the road and support Huckabee. It's the truth. Right now, I like Jindal or someone else with his similar beliefs. But this doesn't mean Huckabee is wrong in supporting life. Abortion is not only killing babies, but is killing America as well. Jindal knows this too. So does Bachmann. So does Palin. And there are surely others as well. Christ will bring to us a pro-life intellect who can battle against our current administration, if we all hunker down and pray, fast, act, write, protest, and pray some more. But looking into a crystal ball and telling me (or other pro-life voters) what I (we) believe in is, in my opinion, a flawed attack.

My note to the senator.
Please, PLEASE, sir, exhibit some common sense and backbone.
Our forefathers would be horrified to see us abandoning liberty and freedom for a socialist nanny state, in debt beyond our ability to repay, and committed beyond our ability to comply.
Please vote against this horrendous “healt care” bill.
And when did doctors become “health care providers”?
God have mercy on us.
Respectfully,

That's it, lizzy..just keep it up with the bible thumping tactics.
There ARE other very important factors that need to be addressed with this Health Care Bill.
If we didn't try to make Abortion the SINGLE most important issue of this bill, we wouldn't be in the shape we're in now.
If we focused on the other major consequences of passing Obama care the bill would be defeated. And by doing that we would solve the potential "abortion" funding as well.
And FYI, we did pray, fast, act, write, protest and prayed somemore and STILL Obama was elected. Go figure.
If your hero, Huckabee, had come to Arkansas and taken on Blanche Lincoln before she cast her pivitol vote in the House, we wouldn't be in this mess.
I'm done with you today...go play with someone else.

I did that but will have to redo it...while we want to express our anger we do have to be somewhat careful of what and how we say it. We can double dare him to stand on principle rather than being a sell out. It is especially important for those of us who have NO conservative senators from our states to do this. We need to emphasize that while our own senators have no moral compass we depend on those who do to assist in doing the right thing for the nation regardless of personal gain.

I did it. I wrote a bunch! Probably should have kept it short but I couldn’t. I’ll go back later and do a shorter one.

Typical stupid reaction from the Palinstinians. How dare he? Only Sarah Palin should lead people in demonstrations. (extreme sarcasm)

Contact OMAHA STEAKS and say no longer doing business with them. Cancel any current orders for steaks for the holidays as a gift.
Hit Nebraska where it hurts. In their cow parts. Where's their phone number???? Need their web site. They're going to get upset with Ben Nelson for starting an anti-Nebraska backlash.
Let the backlash begin.
