Only politicians could come up with the promise of reducing the cost of medical care by increasing taxes on medical procedures and equipment.
The scary and sad thing is that there are people who believe it!
Mark
And taxing all productive people for it years before it is implemented.
It’s so bad not even leftists want to vote for it.
It's losing support daily to boot.
Thus, the agenda to ram it through working on the weekend and holidays.
They have no conscience other than instant gratification.
STARVE the Beast
That sir is an insult to dogs. Harry is a tape worm.
How do the American people express their rage over this intended destruction of our country and out and out stealing of our freedom????
Surprising that they wrote it so taxes will go up before the 2010 election. You’d think the Dems would have avoided that. Unless it happens very gradually, or employers pay the brunt first so workers don’t see how they have been screwed. If employers end up losing loads of $$ because of this scheme then unemployment will rise too. So much for the experts saying better days are coming. Though no doubt the Labor dept. will somehow fudge the figures. And B0 will say this was all a result of Bush policies.
I have not heard much about this...
7. A New Entitlement Program For Long-Term Care That One Democrat Senator Called “A Ponzi Scheme” Would Still Be Created. (Table 5, Douglas W. Elmendorf, Letter To Senator Harry Reid, 12/19/09; Shailagh Murray & Lori Montgomery, “Centrists Unsure About Reid’s Public Option,” The Washington Post, 10/28/09
This could be an enormous financial burden - I’m not sure I understand it entirely, but I think it will be a huge underfunded entitlement program.
Regarding #3; should be a red flag to all. It tells you they are stealing your money from you with no accountability.
Do they really expect us to believe this bs?
We believed the B.S. (collectively) in 2006 and 2008.
Why wouldn't they expect us to believe it?
So call, email, fax (this is my favorite option), visit these five senators.

Will it help? Maybe. Maybe not. But doing nothing will definitely not help. And hopefully they will have nightmares for prostituting themselves to Harry Reid. And will live in fear and dread, knowing that they will be booted from office at the next election.
“STARVE the Beast”
I agree. I find it difficult to think of how to successfully starve a beast that is already completely out of food yet is able to keep on eating stores from long out into the future.
The beast might be too big to starve.
The beast needs, shall we say, severe and heavy pruning.
“That sir is an insult to dogs. Harry is a tape worm.”
You are right. My apologies to all dogs.
Not all of us believed it. There were red flags all over the place. Jimmy Carter’s hope video should have taught us a lesson.
The first key cloture vote is at 1AM on Sunday night/Monday morning.
