This morning on Fox Sunday with Chris Wallace, Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) conceded that Republican senators won’t be able to stop Democratic health care reform legislation from passing the Senate before Christmas.

“We will fight until the last vote,” McCain told Chris Wallace. “We owe that to our constituents, because we must do everything—we must look back and say we did everything to prevent this terrible mistake from taking place.”

I beg to differ with Senator John McCain… (which is nothing new)

Another useless NAY vote is NOT everything they can do!

In the final hours of American freedom, liberty and supremacy, Republicans who no longer have a legislative means to stop the ongoing rape of the nation and its people, have one last chance to save themselves and the nation from certain ruin.

Of course, after Bambi signs it and takes credit, there will be the question of its implementation. In 2013 or whenever (I’ve lost track).

The 2011 House will be called upon to appropriate funds. Should they fail to step up to the plate, there will be no money to pay the army of bureaucrats.

Of course, they won’t have enough votes to override a veto (not enough senators up). So they won’t be able to set matters straight the right way. But no money, no implementation!

Things to remember in November, 2010. And when writing checks leading up to the event. We need a really nasty 2011 House!

Your posts shows that you have no idea of how the government works or of economics. Republicans only had a bare majority in the Senate not the 60% , filibuster proof majority Democrats have now. So Republicans never "had it all" as you "conservatives" who hate the GOP and liberals say. Funny how liberals and many "conservatives" who hate the GOP say the same thing and both loathe the GOP,funny huh? Democrats could always filibuster and stop anything Republicans tried to do . Get a clue. Republicans can't filibuster anything as democrats can break any filibuster with 60 votes, 60% of the votes in the Senate.

Democrats controlled 60 votes and so there is not a thing Republicans could do to stop this. All democrat/Marxist Senators voted to pass this . Not a single Republican Senator voted to pass this bill but you blame Republicans for this socialist bill passing? That's the most ridiculous thing I 've ever heard. Republicans could have all walked out and still the Democrats/Marxists had the 60% of the votes in the Senate to pass this.It is called a filibuster proof Senate. It is democrat dictatorship. The liberal media puppet masters have made puppets out you "conservatives" that hate the GOP.

Furthermore, Republicans didn't spend like drunken sailors as liberals , the MSM , and "conservatives" who hate the GOP say. That is a liberal mainstream media lie and a Michael Savage lie. As you can see from this graph. Government size decreased during the time the Republicans controlled Congress. The number of government employees per thousand population actually decreased during Bush's presidency and during the time that the Republicans controlled Congress. Of course the liberal mainstream media ran stories every day how the Republicans were increasing government size ("spending") by record amounts.And government educated "conservatives" who have no clue about anything including economics bought that lie every day and so got angry and turned against the GOP which was the liberal media's goal. Any "spending increases" were for mandatory spending increases mandated by the government machine and agencies the Democrats built since the late 1800's starting with the government schools. Also the Afghanistan and Iraq wars,9/11, and inflation were the "spending increases".
