That's okay with them, they'll just print more! The only way for $$$ to truly "leave the system" is for the debt to be repaid. That's all our money has been for several decades: DEBT.
#1 Look for gold to go ballistic.
#2 Here comes the Amero!
If that happens, what will be the value of the money y'all are hoarding? Try this: Take a $10 bill and go exchange it for a Nicaraguan Cordoba. Now turn around and try to exchange it back. I'm sure you'll get a lot of Cordobas for your dollars. Do you think you'll get a lot of dollars for your Cordobas? That's what is going to happen when we flop over to the Amero.
They will come out today and claim that they have accomplished what America overwhelmingly wanted them to do. That the National Debt will now go down and that we are all saved.
Next, they will raise taxes, grant citizenship to 30 million or more illegals, and allow them to come in here for a small fee and registration. They will get immediate benefits, housing, welfare, etc,. They will vote Democrat.
Cap & Tax will be next. The revenue they desperately need to feed the several new agencies they will create will come from this source. It's not about saving the Earth, is simply the biggest cash cow they have yet invented.
There will also be a VAT tax created early next year, gas/fuel tax, because they need to make it actually look like they are not liars and reduce the deficit.
The results of what it will do to the economy however, will not lie. Get ready for what Gerald Celente has predicted to become ECONOMIC APPOCALYPSE!
I’m moving to any State the invokes the 10th amendment and resists the federal monster!
Dear Mr. Williams,
Not that I disagree with you, but the days of Davey Crockett are long gone. US politicians are either corrupt or complicit with few actually representing their constituents or the country at large.
It’s a good idea, but television has made celebrity wannabees out of too many senators, republicans included. They have no interest in doing something so courageous.
Well, maybe they could “walk out” for the holiday recess. That would be able it.
I know - it begins with the money.
Still trying to wrap my brain around how to respond in a practical way to all of this.
I’ve also got medical issues I’ll have to take care of before everyone’s private insurance gets dropped and I won’t get it covered anymore.
Many of us share your dilemma.
Resist! Resist! Resist! There are many ways to...Resist!
The lake of fire awaits these rats.
Anyone doubt this would happen?
Bastards.
Damn all of them.
sw
I agree with everything you said in your post....with a few exceptions.
When Bush was president, he pushed through the prescription drugs for seniors, which the CBO later said could cost trillions of dollars over the decades.
Bush also tried like hell to push through Amnesty, which would have been a disaster.
My two points notwithstanding, I still wish to God that Bush was president today. George W. was light years better than that communist Obama.
Many of the senators who stabbed America in the back are not up for re-election until 2012 or even 2014. Just 33 senators are up for re-election in 2010....we have to defeat the dems that are up with everything we’ve got.
That’s one of the reasons why they’re pushing it through this week. They know that most of their major opponents in the talk world - Hannity, Rush, Levin, etc., are off this week. They get a free pass with praise from the MSM and only criticism from the blogosphere, which doesn’t have the same impact as talk radio.
When do the tax increases hit? When does it become a crime not to have health insurance?
I have a question for a constitutional type person.
Is it constitutional for the final bill to contain the “medicaid” taxes paid by taxpayers of every state but Nebraska, for the taxpayers of Nebraska?
I would think that it would not, and of course this bill probably has many other unconstitutional parts.
Arlen is up for re-election next year. Time to fire this guy.
Isn't that special, with two stolen votes (Alaska and Minnesota). Who says crime doesn't pay?
Too little. Get a rope.
