And the Muzzies will build a Mosque on top of it and claim it for Islam.

The wine emanating from the nearby water trough was the big give-away.....

Neat! I wanted to be an archaeologist, paleontologist or one of those other ‘ologists’ when I was in high school but it wasn't to be. I'm fascinated by ancient history and always have been.

Well, there goes the “Nazareth didn’t exist at the time of Jesus” trope that the atheists/secular humanists like to trot out.

Imagine being one of Jesus’ playmates and having your mom constantly say: “Why can’t you be more like Mary’s son, Jesus!”

Why didn’t they think it was his house? Was another mailbox on the front door? ;-)

DITTOS #5. Then I found out that you had to grub around in dirty clothes all the time and my interests moved elsewhere.

I am fascinated at the import of this discovery. I wonder if it was a free-standing house? I had the impression that most of the people lived in caves, or semi caves, during that era.

There is an old Kingston Trio song about Mary, Jesus, and the other children who would not play with him because he was just a “poor maid’s child” and they were the sons of the rich. “So he built them a bridge of the beams of the sun” and invited them to come play with him and all the other mother’s said, “Mary, call home your child” because they were afraid that their sons and daughters would get hurt crossing a bridge mad of sun beams.

It’s a beautiful song and it is on a wonderful album of odd Christmas songs (still available) called “The Last Month of the Year”. I think that all of the original artists have passed on now, but it has always been my favorite album.

To get an idea of the extraordinary spiritual gulf that exists between us and the "dark side", take a look at the reaction to this story from the "dark side":
