ObamaCare will violate umpteenth campaign pledge
The Macon County Conservative Examiner ^ | 12/21/09 | Robert Moon

Even according to Politifact (one of the most liberal "fact-checkers" in existence), Obama has already broken nine separate campaign promises since taking office less than a year ago. He has also "compromised" on 18 others.

But if the "post-partisan" candidate for "change" signs this blatantly illegal, trillion-dollar health care takeover into law, he will be blatantly violating not just another campaign promise, but the one he built his entire candidacy on in 2008.

Responding to allegations that he fully intended to raise taxes on regular working people, he said the following on the campaign trail:

I can make a firm pledge. Under my plan, no family making less than $250,000 a year will see any form of tax increase. Not your income tax, not your payroll tax, not your capital gains taxes, not any of your taxes.

Quite frankly, I don't care if he violates all of his campaign promises. I view his reneging on campaign promises as poetic justice for all of the clowns who voted for this AH and who will be hurt by his actions.

I do care, however, about this guys disregard for the oath that he took to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America. If he signs a bill that gives the Federal government control of an area that is not specified in the Constitution, he ought to be impeached. And as I read it, the Constitution does NOT grant the Federal government the right to control health care in this country......

He knows that, and he has never plannned on getting re-elected. That's not his purpose.

His purpose is to destroy our Republic, and I'd give him an A+ in achieving his goal.

I agree, but where are all of our elected Republicans on this? Only a few have spoken up, and none have mentioned the unConstitutionality of this bill.

Obozo is a habitual liar. He lies when it would be easier to tell the truth.

He believes he is telling the truth: a new tax is not an increase. That’s how they will try to get around this if challenged. Of course, who will challenge them. Not the media. Not the brain-washed drones who helped him get elected. They are mostly of the peer pressure generation. If they see a negative, they will believe themselves in error. The dogma taught in public education allows no opposition.

George Washington was a man people trusted, Barack Obama can’t be trusted by his own measure
