I am not sure this is such a bad thing. I mean, isn’t our goal to rid the place of RINO’s, Pro-Choicers and Gun Grabbers? Isn’t there one Conservative in the House from New York that can beat this appointee? How about King?

This ..-hole is responsible for Hillary's success in 2000. He pulled out in the NY Senate campaign and then had the nerve to try to run for president against her.

Interestingly, Peter King’s ACU rating for 2008 was 50, falling from previous years in a steady pattern and is probably easily considered a moderate these days...magritte

I wasn’t sure. He seems to be a spokesperson on Fox a lot and he usually comes off fairly conservative. You folks would know best. Any other suggestions that can win?

Actually, King’s 50 ACU rating helps in NY...it’s unlikely any conservative will be a U.S.Senator from NY in the near future...magritte

The three easiest way for a used car salesman to gain power
is to become a preacher, a politician or get a TV show.

He probably thinks he can run for POTUS in 2012.
(In his own mind.)
To: xkaydet65
I wouldn't want to see Huck run for POTUS, but he'd be valuable in either the Congress or the Senate...

Since you’re in NY, can you name any Republicans who can defeat Gillibrand?

If you don’t want gun grabbers, you don’t want Pete King.

While Im not a Huck supporter, as a Catholic,I have no problem with Hucks clerical calling.I'm not a Huck supporter either, as a Baptist. I'm ashamed to admit it, but the last time I voted for a born again Christian for president we got Jimmy Carter. I don't think he's tough enough.
Now if he was a Jesuit.......maybe so.

If he had the money, John Faso would make her nervous. He would need mucho bucks to overcome her $$$ advantages. In his favor is he’s run statewide and Gillibrand has low recognition.
To: xkaydet65
IIRC, John Faso ran against the now disgraced Spitzer, and that Faso is relatively young and pleasant looking. Interesting. Gosh, I just hope someone with a good chance to win steps up to run and soon.
Thanks for replying.
