BOSTON -- Teresa Heinz, the wife of the 2004 Democratic presidential nominee Sen. John Kerry, says she is being treated for breast cancer.
Heinz, 71, said she found out in late September that she had cancer in her left breast after having her annual mammogram and doctors later discovered a lump on her right breast.

Since the American health care system is “broken” and people are dying from it, I assume Mrs. Kerry will be traveling to Canada or the UK, to get some of that “superior”, socialized medicine.

She will get the best of medical treatment, paid for by our taxes. Congress has given itself extraordinary benefits and created a privileged elite class.
Meanwhile, ordinary slobs, us, the taxpayers, get the bill and will get inferior treatment.
The left is obsessed with “unequal” access to health benefits and hates it when one person gets great benefits at work, while another has inferior benefits. The health “reform” bill will change this, EXCEPT for the congresspeople!
I wish her the best. I’m sure she will get the best medical care that money can buy and why not. Now her husband is still a horse’s a@@...face....whatever.

She should go ahead and opt for the double mastectomy.
I know too many people who had really bad luck with it coming back after a lumpectomy.
Prayers for her health. I went through a scare this past Spring and wouldn’t wish that on anyone. My sister is a 10 year survivor - thank God!

As much as I disagree with John Kerry, I wish the best and speedy recovery to Mrs. Heinz-Kerry. My thoughts and prayers are with them as she battles this terrible disease. I also pray that the Kerry family realizes just how incredibly lucky they are to be treated by the best health care system in the world (that is before Kerry and his pals finish dismantling it.) If she were in Britain right now, she’d be given a pain pill and put on her way.
Are you kidding? With her money she can afford to go to Cuba to get treated.
