Equality before the law may be the state motto for Nebraska, but some Nebraskans are asking for sister states to sue the Cornhusker state.
Is there anyone out there that will sue the State of Nebraska and/or Senators Ben Nelson and Harry Reid? asks Patricia Rief-Heskett of Omaha. ..
The deal the senator made for Nebraska is against the law and against the Constitution, says Rief-Heskett...
And the Omahans has crossed all of her ts and dotted all of her is.
Our Constitution states in Article 1, Section 9: `No preference shall be given by any regulation of commerce or revenue to the ports of one State over those of another.
Article 4, Section 4 states: `The United States shall guarantee to every state in this union a Republican form of Government. Also under our US code Title 18 201 Titled Bribery of Public Officials and Witnesses: Section B reads, `Whoever directly or indirectly, corruptly gives, offers or promises anything of value to any public official (officials is defined as a member of Congress, Delegate or Resident Commissioner) or any person who has been selected to be a public official, or offers or priorises any public official or any person who has been selected to be a public official to give anything of value to any person or entity with intent (a) to influence any official act; or (b) to influence such public official or person who has been selected to be a public official to commit or aid in committing, or colluding, or ally any fraud or make opportunity for the commission of any fraud on the United States.

Looking forward to it.
Leave that dead coon that crawled up on your hear back in DC, Ben.
“...declared Nelsons decision to be the end of his political career in Nebraska.”
Don’t matter. These people are willing to ‘fall on the sword’ to pass this bill.
I just hope it can be dismantled. HE needs corncobs.....
Take away the damn corn subsidy and listen to the screams.
My opinion of “proud indian” sure took a big doo doo.
WHORE.
Nelson, not you freesoirited
The question is why? They will try for amnesty in the Spring of 2010. They are evil.
They’re counting on the right’s inability to roll back any socialist “reform” that they’ve put in place for the past 7 decades.
If we get a majority elected, they are STILL going to be subject to tea parties on their lawns to remind them who put them there and for what reason.
Amazing how often it applies:
Treason doth never prosper.
What’s the reason?
For if it prosper,
None dare call it treason.
Breaking news from the Texas AG's Office:
Well, THAT’S interesting.

I have gotten into arguments with my farmer brother over this, I asked him, what if they took away you federal subsidies, and at the same time they lowered your taxes by 50%?
He thought for a moment and realized that he pays more in taxes by a factor of three than what he gets from the fed government for crop subsidies any given year and that this would be a better alternative....
That shut him right up, especially when I told him he could earn interest all year on the extra tax money he wouldn’t have to pay verses the money the government takes and then doles back to him.
I think then he realized that the government takes with one hand and gives back a paltry sum with the other. When you cut out the bureaucracy you get to keep more.
I am still working on him as he is a “Dad voted Democrat too”. The funny thing is my Dad would listen to Rush all of the time so he could complain about him, I used to ride with dad when he did irrigation and listened to Rush by his side and that was the begging of my conversion from Democrat farm kid to a Libertarian Conservative. Thanks Dad!
You got that right. This is exactly what our outgoing parttime RAT governor Tim Kaine wants to do. He took a few minutes from his travels on behalf of the RAT National Committee to propose doing away with the car tax and instead raising the income tax by 1% point.
We'd save less than a hundred bucks if the car tax were abolished; the income tax increase would cost us a hell of a lot more.
