Costa Rica is nice; the people are extremely friendly and productive. But you had better really like red beans and rice - for breakfast, lunch, dinner...

Costa Rica is nice; the people are extremely friendly and productive. They are now. Wait until Marxism spreads throughout Central America. With the USA heading in that direction what is going to stop it? I spent six weeks in Nicaragua in 1996 on a project for Bell South International. Costa Rica could turn into that sort of hell hole overnight. Costa Rica has no military to speak of, but other players in the region do, like Chavez........

"Costa Rica is nice; the people are extremely friendly and productive. But you had better really like red beans and rice - for breakfast, lunch, dinner..." In my opinion you don't run anywhere. You stand and fight back. Obama and Reid are cowards at best. Bullies are usually are.

But you had better really like red beans and rice - for breakfast, lunch, dinner... Beats the heck out of nothing. Beside, there are black beans, also.

There’s a weird ‘job protection” series of laws in Costa Rica that function as the ultimate disincentive to do anything. Crappy service etc...

" Costa Rica is nice; the people are extremely friendly and productive. But you had better really like red beans and rice - for breakfast, lunch, dinner... "Remember too, 'birds of a feather flock together.' In Costa Rica, when things get tough, you're the odd man out.
