WASHINGTON | By brokering a climate deal last week in Copenhagen, President Barack Obama has committed himself to a more daunting task: passing comprehensive climate legislation in the Senate next year.

Although many senators — especially key Republicans — have shown little appetite for backing another ambitious bill after the polarizing health care debate, it is clear that enacting legislation to cap the U.S. carbon dioxide output and allow polluters to trade emission permits is essential to delivering on the pledges that Obama made to other world leaders.

Don’t worry, Harry Reid will simply exempt more states from Medicaid to get this POS through.

I think you will find many Dems supporting this as the writing is on the wall for their 2010 election.

All Congressmen who voted for Cap & Trade MUST be removed.

They are either Traitors or simply Too Stupid To Hold Public Office.

Here is the list & how they voted on other key issues.

Given the liberals' past behavior on such issues, my guess is one that specifically requires that us peons cut back on our lifestyles (i.e. go live in caves) in the name of saving the planet while they continue to live their "high carbon" lifestyles because they are simply "too important" to be subject to the same laws as we are.

US Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) can be turned away from the dark forces. Have faith.

Unless he gets it through Congress, President Peace Prize’s “pledges to world leaders” mean as much as the paper his birth certificate is forged on.

Dear Juliet, start right off with the big lie you want everyone to believe, then continue with more BS. Oh, and if you can, slip in something about the Olympics coming to Chicago.

That is the point. I hope you don’t mind if I adopt that as my tagline for a while.

Yeah, but it won't happen until 2014 when we throw him down the stairs and out of office.

I think they should run this through in January while they are on a roll. Heck if they can actually get a conference committee on the health care bill they might just add this as an ornament in their final report.

Like abusive parents, they tell us they won’t beat us any more, then wham. They will pass everything. Electing more Rino’s won’t stop them either.

So typical that the democraps will continue pushing something that is now proven to be based in a series of gross lies ... democrats are amoral liars, the lot of them. The democrat party is still just a criminal enterprise.

...which is why they are forever exempting themselves (and their families) from the same draconian rules and regulations the rest of us plebians are forced to live by. Some pigs are just more equal than others.
