I had enough stomach to venture over there for a short while (3 min) but didn't read the actual posts. Even though I can take some punishment, a long stay in DUfus land isn't feasible.

From the forum home page, there are a lot of libs proclaiming him to be a one term president like Carter, and it looks like they are starting to eat the moderates.

This kind of behavior could explain the defection of Parker Griffith (R, AL-5), because although he's a RINO/DINO who was a model for the BDs, he was probably facing intense heat from the commie left.

I suspect that at the rate they're squawking over there, these same morons who proclaimed an end to conservatism will ensure primary fights from the left and degenerate the DemocRATic party to becoming purely a Communist/Socialist party—like they haven't already done that. In the end, they won't be defeated in large part by conservative attack ads or the typical political rhetoric; the RATs will destroy themselves.

This scenario reminds me of the time when Roosevelt was pushing his court-packing plan in 1937 (I just read it in the book "New Deal or Raw Deal"). The moderate Democrats didn't want to go along and the flaming libs followed the FDR right off a cliff in the 1938 midterms. What did the Republicans do? They shut up and watched the cannibalism as Pat Harrison and the southern dems tear apart his court packing and minimum wage proposals!

2010 is not shaping up to be a 1994. It's shaping up to be a 1938 (GOP: +9 in Senate, +81 in the House).

Mission complete. Now to go vomit...

“It’s shaping up to be a 1938 (GOP: +9 in Senate, +81 in the House).”

The results of which allowed us to win WW2!(My opinion of course)
