WHOA! Drudge had a headline up all weekend that said “tired Reed votes NO on health bill” ......who else was getting drunk??
Kennedy’s legacy in Euro-trash Loyalist Bacchus; this is one reason that Congress should be subject to the same laws they pass upon everyone else, starting with mandatory drug testing, employment rules and FOIA disclosure of all items pertaining to their personal lives in light of their public position and duties.
Short of that Bacchus is a dimwit socialist.

While that is true, it seems to me, that the guy is drunk. Democrats are a shameless and immoral lot, being liquored up on the clock ~ or on the floor of the US Senate ~ is probably not considered to be such a horrible thing.

Aside from the disgraceful performance of ex-Senator Baucus, he’s got it complete wack-bassards. It’s Obama who wants the political victory. Otherwise, why the rush to passage? If he really wanted reform, he would take it slow and do it the way Americans want it done.

Can’t be ketoacidosis either, if you are so high that you are slurring your words, it also means you have to pee like a racehorse too. In addition, you are light headed, and you’ve got big-time neuropathy in most of your extremities, nose, etc.
You slur because you can’t feel your tongue. Once you start to slur, you’ve got about 10 minutes on the outside before you start looking for a place to lay down and pass out.
Oh, and there’s the vomiting, which happens as you dehydrate, which causes more vomiting, which makes you more dehydrated, etc.
